Nothing Is Real But The Girl

Hiya, bunnies! It’s a funny thing about traveling. When you don’t do it for a long time, you just stop thinking about it much. But take a trip and then all you want to do is do it some more. I didn’t even really have a great time on vacation this summer and really wanted to come home, but now all I can think about is going back. I must be crazy. 🙂

I headed out to Uber again last night [Uber is on my favorites bar. I will usually go there a dozen times in any given round.] and picked up the Thelma wool cardigan from Addams. I think this is super cute, although I wish there was an option to have a slightly longer shirt underneath, and an option to have the boobs less…pronounced. *laughs* But it’s really well made and there is a HUD to change the colors of the edges of the cardigan and the shirt.

If you haven’t been to Collabor88 yet, you need to run quickly so you can pick up the Samantha boots from Fri.day. These are a great little fall bootie that pair up easily with both pants and dresses.

Rain, I Don’t Mind

Happy Saturday, bunnies! So I am a lover of sunshine. I cannot handle it if it’s rainy and gray for too many days. But as I was out shopping at Uber last night, I saw a shirt that made me think, “You know… that IS kind of nice.”

Vinyl is kind of a new-to-me store and they’re out at Uber right now with the Walsh sweater. Coffee, Books, and Rain? Yes, please! Now the cool thing about this sweater is that it has a HUD so you have 2 choices of a graphic on your shirt, or wear it plain, and also change the color/print of the shirt underneath. This also has several sizes and is mesh body compatible. Well. Unless you wear some crazy body no one else is wearing. But the mains are there. 🙂

She Changed Her Tune, It’s All Haggard and Jones

Howdy, bunnies! So it should come to no surprise to anyone that I love country music. I mean, I basically love all music, but living where I live, country music is pretty huge. I do go through phases of not listening to it much at all but then it pulls me right back on in. I guess you never really can change who you are deep inside, huh?

Fri.day is out at Shiny Shabby with the Rosie boots! I just adore these! Don’t get me wrong, I like a nice stiletto heeled boot, but a lower heeled, easy to walk in boot will forever catch my attention. These boots are not rigged, so you can edit them, but they were fit on the Maitreya Lara body. So if you have that body, they’ll fit out of the box [unless you’re all weird with your shape], but others might need to adjust a little.

Instant Gratification

Hi there, bunnies! I don’t know about you guys, but I don’t lose weight easily at all. AT. ALL. I hate getting on the scale after I’ve been so so good and not seeing a big difference! I’m all about instant gratification when it comes to my health because hey, who doesn’t want to feel and look amazing instantly after putting in hard work, am I right? But luckily in SL, instant gratification happens very easily!

Paper Arrow Co. is at N21 this round with the Lazy.Jogger pants! They are so super cute and comfy! If you really haven’t checked this store out because they weren’t fitting to your mesh body, it’s time to try them out because they’re doing Slink and Maitreya versions now! Yay!

Back In The Game

Happy Monday, bunnies! One of my favorite characters ever is Elle Woods from Legally Blonde. I know, it sounds silly, doesn’t it? But she was just such an optimist and also willing to work for what she wanted. Did you know that Legally Blonde is also a musical? There’s a song near the end where she sings about being back in the game after it would have been so easy for her to just give up. That’s the kind of Monday motivation I like!

Let’s Have Us A Sunday Drive

Hello, bunnies! When I was little, Sunday afternoons almost always meant a drive into the country. My dad loved to just get my mom and me into the car and we’d drive out somewhere for a while, usually until we got to a truck stop they liked so we could have lunch before driving home. It was always lovely. Of course these days I’m the one behind the wheel and there’s not as much country, but sometimes we still take off outside the city limits, even if it’s just for a moment.

Shiny Shabby opens up at noon today and let me tell you, I was just itching to get my hands on the Pearl Cashmere Ensemble by Valentina E! The sweater and the pearl studded skirt are just darling! This is definitely an outfit that is perfect for fall.

We’ll Lose The Lights And Harmony

Happy weekend, bunnies! I have to admit, I didn’t really intend on blogging today. But when I decorate our home, often I play around up on my platform just to see what looks like it would work, and I put together such a cute fall corner today, I couldn’t help but blog it!

Thinking about homes and all, I have a request from you guys. I don’t normally do this sort of thing in this blog, but I need to this time. My great-niece, Maelie, had her home catch fire a couple of nights ago. Luckily, she and her family made it out safely, which is the most important thing. But pretty much everything they owned was damaged or lost. There is a GoFundMe page set up to help alleviate some of the costs of replacing essentials and the cost of just having somewhere to stay while they wait for their home to be safe enough to move back into. Books Are A Uniquely Portable Magic

Hiya, bunnies! So the title of my post today is a quote by Stephen King, someone who sure tells a great story! It’s also a bit of a nod to my oldest sister because he was her favorite author and she’s the one who taught me how to love reading, which I am forever grateful for. I spent a lot of time alone as a kid when I wasn’t in school, and books were my way to travel without leaving the house, to have friends when no one was around, and to cultivate my imagination. They really are magical!

Neve by coldLogic released some SUPER comfy fall clothes today! You guys have no idea how happy it makes me! I’m wearing the Breeze long top and the ZeeZee floral leggings for this picture. I love cute, comfy, cuddle up and read clothing!

I managed to get into Kustom9 yesterday and played the Amitomo gacha a few turns, resulting in getting these StyleShare boots in prussian blue. I was trying to get the cotton pink ones, so if anyone gets those, I can give you a rare from the machine! I really need pink boots!

Time to go curl up with a good book!

Out In The Fall Air

Hello, bunnies! Do you enjoy the fall air? I know I do! It just feels so clean after the sticky hot air of the summer. I love to just sit outside and breathe.

Kustom9 has started, and you need the new Poetry Autumn Bench miniset from Cheeky Pea! The set has the bench, the wooden pumpkin blocks, and some cute pine cone lights, which are not shown here because they’re meant to be hung up and I didn’t have a place to hang them in this pic. The long pillow on the bench has 4 different textures with different sayings, too.
