Happy Monday, beautiful ones! I have to admit, I’m not much of a morning person. It’s always been said that if you really want to know my opinion of something, ask me early in the morning, because I’m not likely to hold back! But I will say that I am much more productive if I wake up early. I might be mad about it, but I get things done!

And one thing I’ve definitely done today is check out Collabor88 before it closes for the January round. You all should go, too! Then be sure you head to The Epiphany for more goodies there!

Hold On For One More Day

Hello, beautiful people! Believe it or not, I was craving a rainy day today. I don’t really like rain for the most part. I like sunshine and warm breezes. But there really is something so refreshing about the rain sometimes. So if there was one thing that I could hope for in Second Life, it would be the ability for us to have real weather. Oh sure, we can fake it. We can do different windlights, we can use particle effects, we can put weather makers over a sim and pretend. But it’s not the same. The “rain” cuts through our walls and snow doesn’t really stick. But I’m ever hopeful that one day, maybe in SL 5.0, we’ll be able to have a rainy day.

The Time Has Come For My Dreams To Be Heard

Happy Monday, beautiful people! It’s my favorite time again! The Epiphany begins tomorrow night! And I know what you’re saying. “But didn’t we just HAVE a round?” We did, but it was a special holiday pop-up round. This one is the right-on-schedule one! But who can complain, right? We love The Epiphany! The designers always bring their A+ game with them, and oh y’all, this one is NO exception.

The Epiphany starts on January 15th at 10pm SLT and runs until February 15th. You won’t want to miss it!

I’ll Rise Up

Hello, beautiful people! I have been playing around with lights lately after watching this amazing tutorial from Daeberethwen. I do use projectors and lights in a lot of my photos anyway, but I primarily use Beev’s tutorial on soft/diffused lighting. If you’re someone who is wanting to make your photos better and you’re unsure how, just go to YouTube! We have so many amazing photographers who have made tutorials on how they do certain things to make their photos. I know I have learned so much from watching them. The best part, I feel, is that no one says “You have to do it this way.” You can learn from one person and learn from another and mix it all together to make something that works for you. It’s art!
