They are for the Maitreya and Slink high feet and wrap up the legs so nicely! Also at Uber, Truth is there with the Polilla hair. The headband and butterflies [well, Truth calls them moths, but I like butterflies better] are separate pieces, too, so you have options here on how to wear the hair.

I Won’t Turn Away

Hello, bunnies! I hope you guys are finding ways to beat the summer heat! It’s so hot where I am, I can’t even think about wearing jeans. Luckily, SL is always the right temperature for whatever I want to wear!

Do you ever just have the urge to just GO? Just toss some clothes in a bag, get in the car, and drive until you end up in some totally new place? Me too! Except I am never a light packer and it would end up not being spontaneous at all. What can I say? I need stuff!

I’ve been having so much fun with the theme of The Liaison Collaborative this month! Exposeur has made this little suitcase for the Ramblin’ On set that has poses in it so you can sit on the suitcase, or stand on it like I’m doing. And I’m just in love with the Weekender bags from Izzie’s! 8f8 is also out there with the Unexpected Journey set and it has items like this luggage trolley. Ready to go to Hogwart’s?

Live It With Love

Bit of a last minute Throwback Thursday-ish post for me! Did you know that it’s Coldlogic‘s 3rd birthday?? And everything in the store is 50% off!

The Twain dress came out last summer, but it’s perfect for a sunny day Valentine date! The 50% off sale lasts until February 16th, so you can get this lovely dress [and sooo many others!] without breaking the bank!

A Little Wanderlust

So much going on lately, so let’s jump right on in!

I have been SO into the new dresses that Coldlogic released this week! The McKay might be my favorite of the new releases because it’s just so loose and pretty! I love that the print on the dress kind of reminds me of watercolored pictures, too.

The Liaison Collaborative opened up last week and how cute is my pose from Le Poppycock? This one I’m doing is called Wanderlust and comes with the balloons. It’s part of the Chasing Dreams gacha at TLC.

Fri.day just released the new Zoe heels and I’m loving the chunky heel look that seems to be trending for fall!

Hurry on to Fri.day if you want to get the Zoe heels because they’re 50% off for 48 hours! Woo! These are for the Slink high feet. Btw, did you know there’s a free ankle lock at Slink now? Comes in SUPER freakin’ handy when you’re wearing the high and medium feet because those tend to “break” the ankle in a lot of poses and it looks bad.

I’ll Save Myself

The Poser Pavilion [SLurl to come later] starts tomorrow, August 25th! The theme is Area 51, matching with this month’s The Garden theme. It’s looking to be a good one!!

Pretense has this awesome Area 51 pose box for the Pavilion this round, and it’s really cool! Gidge and Cajsa collaborated on this item so what you get are awesome poses in an awesome projector box. The box comes in a few colors, and when you turn on your shadows and local lights, the box really pops to life!

Btw, did you know that Zaara is having a sale?? Yes ma’am, a 50% off sale! As soon as I heard, I ran on down there and picked up the Ashima blouse because I’ve had my eye on it for a while! The Atiriya jewelry I already had, because duh, it’s gorgeous.

Gave Up On The Riddle

Have you gone to the Maitreya sale yet?? I will totally admit, I wasn’t going to because for some reason in my brain, I only was remembering the shoes. I thought “Pfft. I have most of those, and I’m really too lazy to tint stuff myself these days anyway.” But then I remembered…

The Mignon Evening dress is just so lovely and to be honest, I don’t know why I haven’t bought it before! But I’ll tell you what. Getting it for half price was CERTAINLY nice! 🙂 The Maitreya sale lasts for 2 weeks, so scoot on over and shop!

Well, That’s What I Saw Her In.

When I put this outfit on, I thought of that line from Mean Girls. “I saw Cady Heron wearing army pants and flip flops, so I bought army pants and flip flops.”

P.S. I Love You

Valentine’s Day is tomorrow! It’s a big day for women to prance around in sexy lingerie, but what do you do when you’re a girl on a budget? Easy! Check out Attitudes Lingerie! If you look on their marketplace store you can get these Lace Pantyhose for one Linden!

These were like my holy grail of pantyhose when I stumbled upon them. They’re totally well made and come in 3 colors with different opacities of each color. They’re mod, so you could even tint them whatever color you need. Sometimes pantyhose can be pricier than you’d want in SL, but these? Worth much more than the $1L pricetag.

Oh, and head out to Mandala if you’re looking for a great set of inexpensive jewelry! The Milky Way set in Hawthorn red was $77L just a few days ago [might possibly still be!] and it has rings and nails and bracelets and all that good stuff! Mandala jewelry is AMAZING, so if you’re not familiar with them, this set will totally get you hooked!

And Wasabi Pills came out with new mesh hair today! The Sybille hair is so so pretty and although you can’t see it THAT well in this picture, you can be sure that I’ll be wearing it a lot in upcoming blog posts!

Someday, Somewhere

Last month I was away from SL for about a week while my daddy recuperated from another surgery, and I had my husband collecting things for me. Of course, when I got back, I was too tired to go back and look at everything, so imagine my squeal of surprise and happiness when I discovered this gorgeous Ingenue dress just waiting patiently in my inventory!!

I believe the Ava dress came out for the Vintage Fair, and you can see that it is completely vintage inspired. The tight fitted waist, the sweet little peplum, and the slim skirt that Ingenue does so so well are all completely fantastic. You can’t see it in the picture, but the back dips down a bit in a V shape and there is a zipper. It’s just so so classy! Parts of the dress are mesh, so if you can’t see mesh yet… well, sucks to be you, I guess.

Oh! And Nardcotix is having a big End Of The Year sale! 70% off the whole store! You can pick up these lovely strappy Edith heels for a SONG! I find the feet in these shoes to be cute and soooo easy to tint! Especially for me because one of the presets in the HUD matches my skin perfectly!

I think I need to go do a little more shopping!
