A Brand New Day

Happy Saturday, bunnies! There are just some mornings where you get up and you just feel fresh and new and ready to take on the world! Or as my daughter, Rory, would say, “I feel sunny today!”

The Arcade is coming! RC Cluster has a great fun set of randomness for you all this coming round, including the Paint Anything set! I thought this was just so cute! By holding the paint can and the brush, you get an animation that has you just painting away at whatever you want. Plus, there is a HUD to change the color of the paint! Cute cute cute!

Neve is stepping up into spring and today I’m wearing the new Halftime top in eyelet. I am a sucker for eyelet lace! There is a tube top underneath and you can change the color of both the tube top and the tank top. Love!

And if you haven’t stopped by Shiny Shabby yet, you should do that! At the very least, you need to stop by to pick up Fri.day‘s new Sarah.Jane shoes! There are some mesh knee socks that go along with these shoes, but I’m not wearing them since I’m in jeans today.

Hey, bunnies! I hope your week has been great! This pic isn’t all one theme, it’s all bits and pieces!

First, and most importantly, it’s time to open your wallets and do some good. RubyStarlight Writer of Exposeur poses is holding a huge sale to help pay for medical costs for her kitties. You can read all about it here and here. We do so much fundraising in SL for different things. Here’s a chance to do good, get some great poses, and help two precious kitties. Oh, Come On. It Was Just A Little Bomb.

“Mr. Noodle-Sun was one of the meanest men in town. I don’t know if it was always his nature or just a necessary evil in a city where people weren’t always nice. But it didn’t matter. Someone wanted him and his noodle shop gone. I walked in and he told me I couldn’t be there in such a tight, low cut dress. Family place, you know. There wasn’t anyone else in the shop, but I agreed easily enough. Had some noodles and sat outside on the bench. When I was finished, I cracked open the fortune cookie. ‘Today is going to go your way.’ Wasn’t that the truth? I walked back into the shop, told Mr. Noodle-Sun I’d left something on the bench and he had approximately 3 minutes to figure it out. Then I left, thinking how much of a shame this all was.

They were damn good noodles.”

Lights Will Guide You Home

Hey, bunnies! Are you ready to shop? There are some great events going on!

Whimisical is a brand new event and I am just loving it! Truth is in the event with this pretty Henya hair. I’m wearing it with the simple band, but there is a band with feathers attached, too, in case you want to get your boho on. You can also find these Fairy Trees by Striped Mocha and the Asian Pathways set by 22769 ~ [bauwerk] at Whimisical. One word of caution about the trees. They are fairly small and making them bigger REALLY increases the land impact. So mod carefully!

Tres Chic is open and The Annex is there with the gorgeous Elizabeth gown. I fell so in love with the bottom of this gown. But I’ll say this – this dress is really not meant for a mesh body. At least, not the Maitreya Lara. I did photoshop a bit on my side to cover up where my body was poking through because the alpha just didn’t work. I’m not sure if maybe it was just me or not, though, so definitely demo this when you go to buy it.

Let’s Go, Sis!

Hiya, bunnies! Sometimes I like to drag my sister with me when I do things! Well, sometimes she drags me, too. But today… I’m the one doing the dragging!

Lolita and I were SO excited to see the new Retro skates from N-Core! These are awesome! They have lots of different colors and you have the option of wearing the leg warmers or not. AND you can also wear them as ice skates, or just as boot! They’re a great price for all that you get, so you really can’t go wrong by getting them.

Where’s The ANY Key??

Hiya, bunnies! When I first started out working non-retail jobs, like a lot of people, I worked a variety of office temp jobs. Most of them weren’t awful, but some of them were so bad, I’d have done almost anything to have the assignments end early. [I was in my early 20s, what can I say?] Sometimes this included acting VERY dumb in situations where really, I shouldn’t have been involved in the first place. Press any key? I see ESK…Catarl…PigUp…

The Liaison Collaborative is going strong and that is where I got this darling outfit from today! The Buttoned Up Long Sleeve shirt and Belted Denim skirt from NYU are just adorable! These remind me of the outfits I’d wear to work when I was trying to look cute. It’s a very classic look, so I look just as cute now as I did then!

Collabor88‘s theme this month is Espionage! Naturally, any good villain has an evil lair and now you can, too, with the Evil Lair Starter Kit from Second Spaces. Evil computers, a supreme console station, and more! You NEED it in your life!!

I Just Want The Simple Things

Hiya, bunnies! I hope you all are enjoying your weekend! The husband and I went out on a date, but as you know, all great dates really end in the morning. So we’re definitely on our way to morning!

The Liaison Collaborative opens up today at 3pm SLT! It’s The Boutique round [clothes/accessories/poses] with the theme of Simplicity. My date night dress is the Alana dress by Dead Dollz. It’s simply sexy! It’s obviously super low cut in the back, but fairly conservative in the front – no cleavage at all – which is exactly how I like it. This fits the Maitreya Lara body like a glove. I didn’t even have to alpha out ANYTHING.

I Wouldn’t Have It Any Other Way

Hiya, bunnies! I hope everyone’s week is going awesome! I know mine certainly is! Big thanks to those of you who have sent me IMs wishing us luck during our adoption trial! It’s going very very well! In fact, I’m being a proud demo-momma today and even blogging something they made! [Not because I have to, it’s just super cute!]

If you’re not into the family or kid thing in SL, you might never have heard about The Playroom before, and that’s a shame! It’s a very cute gacha event geared more towards the kids of SL, but you can often find your own treasures there – like poses, home decor, and accessories that can be modded to fit an adult. Like today, my Kitty Bag is from Larnia Kids and it will be at The Playroom! The little purse is just adorable! I’m using the rare Siamese one today and the rare kitty bags have a HUD so you can change the color of the bow. The commons don’t have a bow, but come in 10 colors to match to any outfit. The Playroom opens today at 12pm SLT.

Speaking of outfits, look at my pretty Breezy dress by Paper Arrow Co! I love a great sundress, and this? It’s totally a great sundress! They come in a whole lot of colors and some prints, and you can find them at Uber. Which, coincidentally, is where you can also find these fabulous Macey platforms by Fri.day! I love anything with a bow, so you know I’m all over these. They come with mesh add-on socks [which I’m obviously not wearing] so if it’s not warm where you are, you can still keep your legs covered!
