C’mon, Baby, Let’s Go

Hello, bunnies! I took this photo a couple of days ago but a weird and sudden illness knocked me down! No fun! Luckily I’m feeling much better, so now I get to show you pretty stuff!

The Arcade ends on Tuesday, so hurry on over if you want to get awesome things, like the trailer from Consignment‘s The Open Road collection, or the Tree Stump Garden from Half-Deer‘s Spring Eternal set.

Uber started a few days ago and it’s a Freestyle round, so the designers were able to do what they wanted. I am in LOVE with Truth‘s Armelle hair and the Kiania heels by Eudora! Also, the new Grazia skin by Glam Affair at Uber is my new fave!

And if you haven’t heard, coldLogic released some super cute new spring dresses this week! I fell hard for the Lukonen dress because it’s just so fresh and cool.

Your Secrets Are Safe With Me

Did you watch the spring finale of Pretty Little Liars tonight?? Those girls have soooo many secrets! I have secrets, too, but nowhere NEAR what they have! Luckily for you guys, my boots are not a secret!

Duncan Giano is a new-to-me store, but how totally adorable are these Sydney boots by DG for Shiny Shabby? I just love the little lace detail up on the tops! The boots come in several colors and have options to fit various mesh bodies and the default SL avatar.

Exposeur has a cool little promo prop out right now for just $50L. It’s called The Minimalist and it’s just a big ball in a box with 10 poses. It is minimal, but it’s really awesome for pics! I’ve been looking at what others are doing with it and it blows my mind how creative people are with the prop! I’m not sure how long it’ll be at the promo price, so hurry and get it!

It Always Leads Me Here

Hey! Did you know it’s Fashion For Life time? Fashion For Life benefits Relay For Life of Second Life, which fundraises for the American Cancer Society. RFL of SL was ranked 17th out of about 5000 teams that do Relay last year! Everyone sure puts their $Lindens to good use! Plus, you get to buy pretty stuff!

G Field is participating in Fashion For Life this year and has this special Sakura off the shoulder dress! This is a Fashion For Life 2015 exclusive color and print, so if you don’t get it here…well, you’re probably not gonna get it. There is also a dark version which I think I might have to run and get, too. As far as mesh bodies go, this dress does and doesn’t work with them. At least, the Maitreya Lara. I’m wearing a size bigger so it fits better in the back, but you might also want to lower your torso muscles just a bit, too. The front worked with no problems at all.

Do you ever just have the urge to just GO? Just toss some clothes in a bag, get in the car, and drive until you end up in some totally new place? Me too! Except I am never a light packer and it would end up not being spontaneous at all. What can I say? I need stuff!

I’ve been having so much fun with the theme of The Liaison Collaborative this month! Exposeur has made this little suitcase for the Ramblin’ On set that has poses in it so you can sit on the suitcase, or stand on it like I’m doing. And I’m just in love with the Weekender bags from Izzie’s! 8f8 is also out there with the Unexpected Journey set and it has items like this luggage trolley. Ready to go to Hogwart’s?

Have Love, Will Travel

I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend! I know I sure did because a couple of awesome things happened! The Liaison Collaborative opened up for a new round in their new location, and FATEstep opened its doors!

I’m a huge fan of pretty much everything Damien Fate does, and the fact that he’s doing shoes now? Awww yeah! He’s making shoes for both men and women, and lets face it, men definitely needed some great new shoes! I’m wearing the Nylon Chucks and they’re very aptly named because Nylon Pinkney provided the artwork! There are lots of options for these, including other drawings, a clean and dirty version, tied laces, not tied laces… oh, just all kinds of things. Plus you can wear the sock tops if you want, or not. Just so many options!

The Liaison Collaborative‘s theme for this round is Bon Voyage so everything is travel themed! I’m loving the Dolce Vita scooter from Kalopsia. It comes with 2 versions – one to pose on and one to drive! Plus different colors for the scooter. Sooo cute!

Beauty In The Ruins

We were looking for somewhere to explore earlier and stumbled upon the Ruins by Cica Ghost. It’s just gorgeous! I knew I’d need to go back and take a photo. Or many photos. But I’ll just show one that I like.

It’s really quite an amazing place. The description reads: “Only the blackbirds and wildflowers remain to inhabit the ruins of the once active city, its brick edifices having collapsed to reveal the deserted worlds within.” The terrain is very interesting, and the ruins themselves make you wonder what exactly the city looked like before the place was abandoned. I also suggest you turn on the music if you go out there because even though it’s just a radio station, it is beautiful and sets the mood. Sad, but beautiful. You can’t drop posestands or anything, but it’s still an incredible place to take photos.

I Think It’s A Sign

Welp. Guess the diet starts today. 5 second rule doesn’t really count when you drop your donuts outside, huh? Wait! There’s still some in the bag! Breakfast is saved!

Collabor88 started on Saturday and although the “darker” theme doesn’t really appeal to me as we bound into spring, I found some super cute stuff anyway! Like the pretty Kira off the shoulder dress from Tee*fy! It comes in many colors and I just love this kind of coral pink. Ingenue is also at C88 with the Laura heels. These are sweet little mary jane style shoes with slim bow. I’m wearing the ones with roses, but there are solid colors, too.

My necklace is a bit fancy for donut shopping, but I love it so! It’s from the new Regal set by Cae for this month’s Fit For A Princess. You can change the colors of the jewels and the metal with a nifty HUD, too.

And finally, Truth released a couple of new styles recently. The Ramsey hair is just so cute! I do kind of wish it had a bangs option because my totally weird head shape doesn’t quite work with it the way I’d like. This happens to me in a lot of hair, though, so I know it’s me.

The One Where She Does Laundry

Okay, so I haven’t actually gone to the laundromat since…2003. That’s when I moved into my house and my parents bought me a washer and dryer as a housewarming gift. But I DO remember what a pain it was to have to cart all my dirty clothes to the laundromat and so boring to wait for it! And back in 2003, we weren’t taking selfies while doing laundry. Although, had it been an option, I probably would have spent a lot of time doing that. What can I say? I was cute in 2003.

I hopped over to my sister‘s place tonight because she has the entire Oyasumi Laundromat set from The Arcade. Evil creature that she is, she said one of those washers is mine so I can wash the family’s clothes. I just can’t with her! 🙂 At least I look adorable while doing laundry wearing The Gamer outfit from Foxes, also at The Arcade! The hoodie on the jacket is a bunneh! If you head out to The Chapter Four, you can play for a Bunneh Book Bag by Foxes to match this outfit. Well, I didn’t get the one that exactly matches my outfit, but whatever. It’s cute!

There’s A World Where I Can Go

Have you ever noticed how when SL bloggers do home and garden posts, we decorate like we’re on Hoarders? *laughs* Luckily, it’s a look that works and I had lots of fun decorating with a great bedroom set and some gacha items!

I completely fell in love with the Delilah bedroom set from Cheeky Pea for Uber! The afghan on the bed reminds me of something my grandma would have made because she was all about crocheting granny squares. There is a version of the set that is done in more neutral colors, but I’m all about colorful things!

If you haven’t been to The Arcade this month, and you like to decorate, you NEED to go. Seriously. This round is chock full of knick knacks and other items to decorate with!
