It’s hard to be believe it’s only Wednesday, am I right? The week feels so long already. My heart completely goes out to those in Manchester and to all of those affected by this awful act of violence. But there is a quote from the incomparable Mr. Rogers that I always remember in times like this. I know I’ve shared it before, but I think it’s a good one.

“When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me, “Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping.” To this day, especially in times of “disaster,” I remember my mother’s words and I am always comforted by realizing that there are still so many helpers – so many caring people in this world.”

And then I add my own to that. Just breathe. Don’t forget to breathe. ♥

I’ve Got A Hankering For Getting Into Something

Hey bunnies! So about five years ago, there was a blog called SLuicide Girls in Second Life. Yep, it was an SL inspired version of the fantastic RL Suicide Girls website! (With full permission from the owner of the Suicide Girls site, of course.) Some of the awesome bloggers of the day were SLuicide Girls and it was just a chance to have some naughty fun with our alter egos. I was a 3rd generation SLuicide Girl! My alter ego was Trixie Belle, a honky tonk vixen who somehow landed herself a rich businessman. It was all in good fun and if you google search, I’m sure the blog is still out there, although not updated in years. Everyone knows that “sexy” really isn’t my style, but once in a while, I know Trixie is just ready to peep her head out and cause a little trouble again.

If you haven’t been to The Liaison Collaborative yet, you need to goooo!! It’s a pretty good round this month! It’s a Designer’s Choice theme, so it’s always fun to see what they come up with. The Liaison Collaborative does end on the 30th, so you have just over a week to go check it out.

Like My First Time On A Ferris Wheel

Hello bunnies, and happy Friday! If you haven’t been out to 6 Republic yet, you really need to check it out! If for NO other reason than to get this ferris wheel!

We all know MadPea does amazing games and other things, but did you know they have an actual store? And they are participating in 6 Republic this month, too. The My Helsinki gacha set is… oh my goodness, I can’t even tell you how cool it is! There is so much to the set, including this marvelous Sky Wheel!! It really moves and you and all your friends can ride it! Once you get all the pieces, you can create your own darling Helsinki market area, too! Now I will say that the Sky Wheel is an ultra rare, but once you get it, you can exchange it for a copy version. And I totally would do that, because you don’t want to lose your lovely prize!

6 Republic ends on May 20th, and if you love home and garden items like I do, you need to go!

Don’t Stop Til You Get Enough

Hello, my totally rad bunnies! So here’s a little thing about me. I can’t skate. No, really, I cannot. When I was young, there was a skating rink within walking distance of my house and it was the place where almost everyone from the ages of 5-18 hung out because, well, there wasn’t much else to do in my town. So almost every weekend I’d go, strap on some rented skates, and… then sit on the sidelines or just skate on the carpeted areas because putting me on the actual rink was SO NOT GOOD. *laughs* Luckily, I don’t really have that problem in Second Life!

Rewind opened up for another exciting round, and this round’s theme is 80’s Skating Rink! I’ve been having so much fun with all of the amazing items! Now I will say that some items are more 80s inspired than just straight up 80s, but that’s just what makes it so fun!

Deco(c)rate For May! Unboxing!

Hello bunnies! It’s an unboxing day!! Today I’m unboxing Deco(c)rate for May, and it was a really good box! I have to admit, I wasn’t super interested when I heard that the theme for this month was Modern Minimalism because that’s just not my jam when it comes to decorating. But the designers really did well and I found so many pieces that I just loved!

If you didn’t pick up this month’s box, you can do so down at the Deco(c)rate headquarters for $3000L. And don’t forget to pre-order for next month’s box because the theme is Enchanted Dreams and I just know it’s going to be great!

Life Is Good Today

Hey bunnies! I am getting so excited for summer already! I know, I know. There’s still like a whole month to go, and I’ll be crying about the heat by mid-June, but I’m still excited!

If you haven’t been out to N21 yet, you need to go go go! Imbue has the sexiest little rompers! The Plunge Playsuit comes in all kinds of colors and prints, and shows off all kinds of skin!

Exile‘s new Breakeven hair has barely been off my head since it came out! The wavy fall of hair over the shoulder is just so gorgeous.
