Hello, beautiful ones! Spooktober continues! I swear, I just can’t get enough of all of the gorgeous things at The Epiphany this round. I honestly think that Halloween time is the best time in Second Life. People truly go all out for it, and I am loving every single bit!
If you haven’t been to The Epiphany yet, there is no better time to go!
Hello, beautiful people! I hope your week is going fantastic!
I rarely stray out of my normal style when it comes to what I wear. It’s not really a deliberate thing, I just tend to choose things that I really really like. When I saw that the theme for this month’s round of The Liaison Collaborative is “Cyberlogic,” I wasn’t sure I’d really find anything to blog. But I was wrong, because as I was playing around, this look came together and I LOVE IT!! So you should all go to the event because I just bet you will find something amazing that you love, too.
Hello, beautiful ones! I’m just so excited because The Epiphany starts in just a few hours! It opens up tonight at 10pm SLT! Are you as excited as I am?? I hope so! Don’t forget that they do have a mirror sim just in case you can’t get into the main sim for the event. And leave all your super scripty things at home! No one is there to see you, they want to just shop.
Hello, beautiful ones! I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas or whatever you celebrate! Mine was fairly quiet, which is exactly how I wanted it!
As someone who is fairly introverted, sometimes the best gift I can get is gift of quiet, alone time to just recharge. My fellow introverts know what I mean! I spent some of my quiet time adjusting my new LeLutka head. I want to go into the new year with a new look since so much changed for me this year except for my face. I’m still fussing with it, but I love it so far.
Uber started on the 25th, and 3 new LeLutka heads were just released, so there is plenty to shop for right now!
Halloween might be over, but that doesn’t mean you can’t still get spooky when you want to! I’ve been binge watching The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina on Netflix recently and it is dark! But definitely has its humorous moments as well, which is good, or it might be too much for me to handle. But if Halloween is more of a lifestyle than a holiday to you, be sure you head over to The Epiphany before it closes on the 12th, because you know you need some of the spookier items from the event!
On Monday morning I did a live stream in SL for the first time in quite a while. I had forgotten how much I missed just chatting with people who are kind enough to come and hear me ramble about various things. It’s different than what I do on my Twitch channel. There, I play games and chat about what I’m doing in that moment. Somehow, live streaming on YouTube is different, and I can talk about any number of things. If you missed it, then I’m sorry, because I deleted the video immediately afterwards. Mostly because I did a playlist of current pop songs in the background and I didn’t need 37 copyright notices, but also because I wanted to chat about some personal things just to get them out there.
Someone in my chat mentioned that SL breaks are a good thing, because it means you can come back later and remember why you love this place. You can start again. It reminds me of a quote I really enjoy – “At any given moment, you have the power to say ‘This is not how my story will end.'”
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips
Drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide open
Today is where your book begins
Happy fall, y’all! Well…okay, okay. I get that technically it’s not fall yet. I get that. But I don’t quite go by the real dates for things. For me, fall officially starts on September 1st, no matter what the weather is doing outside! And luckily my sister humors me, because she changed our sim to fall over the weekend.
I wanted to just thank some of you for the incredibly sweet IMs I’ve gotten as some of you have noticed me inching my way back into Second Life. Believe me when I say that I am more grateful than you could possibly know. I spent quite a bit of time in SL over the weekend and it felt really good. I want more of that.
Every time you get up
And get back in the race
One more small piece of you
Starts to fall into place
Hello bunnies! Do you ever hear a song and it just speaks to you? That’s the way I’ve been feeling about “In My Blood” by Shawn Mendes lately.
It’s not a secret that I’ve been away from SL for a while. Not away away, but away enough. There have been a lot of things going on and a lot of changes and a lot of…stuff. Anxiety and depression can be a real bitch, even when truly, you have every reason to be happy. I will admit that for a moment, I considered just closing the door on Second Life. Sell the sim, walk away, hit delete. But I can’t do that. I won’t do that. I’m not where I want to be in there yet, but it will come. If I just keep trying, it’ll happen.
Sometimes I feel like giving up,
But I just can’t.
It isn’t in my blood.
Hello bunnies! So it’s my birthday today! As most people know, I can be a little extra about birthdays. I mean, one year I had three parties in a week just to celebrate! But I think everyone should be a little extra about their birthday. Not everyone gets another chance around the sun, you know? Plus it’s like having your very own personal New Year’s Day. Who doesn’t love that “fresh start” feeling, you know?
But speaking of fresh starts, a new round of Whimsical has opened up, so be sure to get out there and have some fun!
