Hello, beautiful ones! I’m all about the self care and having “me time” these days. I really believe in the saying, “You can’t pour from an empty glass.” For some reason, we live in a society where running on empty is seen as a status symbol. I would much rather live quietly and have the time to enjoy a pleasant afternoon.

Uber started up for the March round and oh gosh, is it ever good! I have been looking at everything and wanting to blog it all. So I guess expect a bunch of posts in the near future!

Happy Monday, beautiful ones! Our weather here lately has been pretty up and down. It was just warm enough yesterday to make me start thinking about summer! Will It Be This Way Tomorrow

Hello, beautiful ones! I hope everyone is having a really nice week. Okay, straight up, I’m going to admit something. I’m not feeling terribly creative lately! Or I can’t even say that it’s not that I’m not creative. It’s more that the picture I have in my head of what I want to do in Second Life cannot be done simply because we don’t have the items available. And that is not any fault of a designer, really. While I ADORE when people make items that are useful for photos (like hair that blows in the wind or dresses that are in a different position) we all know that items that are more useful for everyday are probably more profitable. So there will always be some photos we just will never be able to do in SL. That’s okay, though. It just forces us to be a little more creative, I guess!

I Know I’m Worth It

Happy Monday, beautiful ones! I hope everyone had a wonderful and relaxing weekend. As you all know, I’m all about the self care lately. I went a really long time without doing much that was nice for just me. I kind of felt like I didn’t deserve it. I’m truly working towards that, and working towards just being who I feel like I want to be rather than being someone different for every person in my life. It’s slow going and I definitely have setbacks, but in the end, I know I’m worth the work.

Speaking of being worth it, you need to head out and get some shopping done! There are so many wonderful things to buy!

And We Can Close Our Eyes

Hello, beautiful ones! So I was in the process of editing this photo when I got the terrible news that Luke Perry had passed away. Oh gosh, my heart is just crushed. He was probably my biggest celebrity crush as a young teen. Yes, we know him mostly from 90210 fame, but he was also Pike (yes, Pike, not Spike) in the movie version of Buffy The Vampire Slayer. If you never saw that movie, you truly must. It is campy and silly, but so enjoyable! There is one part where Pike, who had been scruffy and sloppy, comes into a dance and he’s clean shaven and beautiful. It’s just about my favorite part. That’s how I’ll remember him.

I think a little retail therapy is in order for today, and maybe you agree with me, so head on out to Uber and get something special.
