Don’t Be So Hard On Yourself

Hello, beautiful ones! I hope everyone has had a most wonderful start to their September! Do you go by official starts to seasons? I almost never do. September means fall to me! And since fall has started, I’m getting the itch to get a new house! I don’t know why I go through this so often! But I just want something smaller and cozier than what we currently have. Do you know of any new homes out there that I might like? I’m looking for at least 2 bedrooms, and yes, I need a bathroom. I know, I know. Some people think it’s silly but I just like my houses to have a bit more realism to them. If you know of any new beautiful homes out there, let me know!

And We Can Close Our Eyes

Hello, beautiful ones! So I was in the process of editing this photo when I got the terrible news that Luke Perry had passed away. Oh gosh, my heart is just crushed. He was probably my biggest celebrity crush as a young teen. Yes, we know him mostly from 90210 fame, but he was also Pike (yes, Pike, not Spike) in the movie version of Buffy The Vampire Slayer. If you never saw that movie, you truly must. It is campy and silly, but so enjoyable! There is one part where Pike, who had been scruffy and sloppy, comes into a dance and he’s clean shaven and beautiful. It’s just about my favorite part. That’s how I’ll remember him.

I think a little retail therapy is in order for today, and maybe you agree with me, so head on out to Uber and get something special.

Remember Me Once In A While

Hello, beautiful people! We’re getting closer to the end of the month and the start of (what I consider) to be spring. I think the end of winter always makes me more introspective. How did I spend winter? What do I want for spring? And of course, I think about people a lot. The ones that are in my life now and the ones that no longer are. I guess if I had a put a word to my current feeling, it would be “bittersweet.” It’s not a bad thing. I think we need those days sometimes.

What we also need is to SHOP! Uber starts up on the 25th, Soiree is happening now, and The Arcade opens up on March 1st! Sooo many places to go do some retail therapy!

Just What I Needed

Hello bunnies! So I’ve always been pretty open about being an introvert. I need time to myself like I need a heartbeat. And outwardly, I think I seem pretty chill most of the time. But the people who know me best know that I can be incredibly needy! And (in a joking way 99% of the time) I am super dramatic. Aldwyn got a new phone this week and forgot to put the app that we use to message each other on the new phone. I may have claimed that he went out for cigarettes and was never coming home, abandoning me to be a single mother. I may also have mentioned that maybe he was dead because he’s old. *laughs* When I asked him later if he thought I was dramatic, he said no. If that ain’t love…

But It’s Not Even An Onion Ring

When I was younger, probably early teens, I always thought it would be super romantic to be out to eat with a guy and have him be SO in love with me, he just had to propose right then and there with an onion ring. *laughs* Now? If It’s For You, It Can’t Be Any Old Thing

Hey bunnies! Someone mentioned to me the other day that I’ve been doing more decor posts than clothing posts lately. I actually have a reason. I have been having such a hard time finding cute things that are my style and that are more end of winter/pre-spring! I like to dress in SL the way my RL weather is, and right now it’s not always cold, but it’s definitely not warm, and almost everything I’ve seen lately is either for icy cold weather, or it has me almost naked. You can see the problem. 🙂 BUT! I’ve also been thrilleddd lately with the decor that people are doing! So it’s much much easier to play with all the wonderful decor than it is to try to dress myself. I’ve been really wanting to get better at doing home and garden photos, too, so really…it’s just win win all the way around, I think. ❤

Books Are A Uniquely Portable Magic

Hello bunnies! All of my life, books have been my friends. I started reading a few days before my 3rd birthday [my mom says the first word I ever read was ‘Visa,’ and she knew then I’d be a shopper.] and I fell immediately in love with all books. My Kindle has almost 1000 books in it at this point! Most of which I haven’t even read, but hey, one day, right? If I can stop shopping long enough to get them read!

Never Enough

Hi bunnies! Why is it that I never have enough in Second Life? My inventory is absolutely jam packed [the number is well over 120,000 at this point] and you’d think at some point, I’d say, “Yes. That is all I need.” But nope. Clothes, shoes, hair. I never have enough!

If you haven’t been out at The Liaison Collaborative yet, you need to go! From the event, I’m wearing the Daisy dress from Enfant Terrible, and the Nina heels from Eudora3D. I love both of these items so much! They’re just beautiful!

Also, if you haven’t noticed, Truth recently re-did his textures and UGH. They are just too gorgeous! He’s also started including stylist HUDs with his new hairs, so you have some options on how to wear them. I’m wearing the Lake hair today and I could have put one or both sides over my shoulders, I’m choosing to wear it completely behind me for this photo. I do so love options!
