Events events events!! I LOVE THEM. :-p I don’t love Halloween that much, to be honest, but I do appreciate some Halloween themed items and events that are in Second Life.

The Halloween Gacha event is open! It’s a small event but there are some really cute things to be found there! Like the Halloween Cookies poses and props from Status! I’m carrying the rare cookie box.

G Field has this super cute Vivian Halloween dress out in their store and…AND…it’s free!! I love free and I love this dress.

The Costume Ball is another Halloween themed event that has some really nice things, like the Christy hair from Wasabi Pills! It’s an adorable ponytail with a bow. The bow comes with a HUD so you can change the color.

Always Another Show

As I was mentioning in a comment to another post here, I’m not much of a skin addict. I know, I know. I LIKE new skins, I love love love to go demo skins, but I’m picky and once I find a skin that is ME, I won’t change for a while. But, I’m trying to branch out a little bit and find new skins, and you know I’d never lead you guys to an ugly skin that I wouldn’t wear myself. So with that said, how cute is the Faith skin from PXL??

It’s a little more mature than my normal younger looking face, but I think that’s what I like about it! When I look at a skin, I look at it from head to toe and all the bits in between, and believe me when I say this one is just fab! This one that I’m wearing is the PXL VIP group gift, and if you’re in the group [and really, you should be], you can receive 25% off of all Faith skin tones and makeups until October 27th!

Have you been to Zodiac yet? No? You need to go so you can get the Jenny strapless blouse from Pink Outfitters! It’s ladylike and simple, but still sexy! I found that the top of the blouse was bigger than what I’m normally used to in a Medium size, so if you’re more busty than I am, you should have no problems fitting into this!

Picture Perfect Memories

The Scorpio round of Zodiac starts tomorrow!! I adore Zodiac, I think the designers always have so much fun with it and make so many things that I just HAVE to have!

Bilo has these really lovely Hiba dresses for Zodiac. I just can never have enough casual dresses. Sometimes all you want is something pretty and simple to put on so you can look presentable without having to fuss too much. But you can most definitely dress this up with higher heels and more jewelry. I kept it simple here because that’s the mood I was in.

I think the Hiba dress also goes really well with the Coffee Bean jewelry Izzie’s has for FAIR! I’m not a coffee addict [anymore] but I think coffee bean jewelry is really unique and fun!

I’m a night owl. I always have been, and I think always will be. The funny part is that I’m kind of night blind and I don’t go out at night a lot. I save my early evening wanderings for SL.

Stellar has come out with some great new items! The Corduroy mini skirts are just fantastic! I have been waiting for new mesh mini skirts and these fit the bill! There are matching Turtlenecks as well! The turtlenecks are a mix of texture and mesh pieces, so you don’t need to worry about sizes. If you’re in the Stellar VIP group, there is a free Halloween corduroy skirt waiting for you at the store!

Truth released new hair this weekend, and how amazing is the Dawson ponytail?? I’m still all kinds of excited about his new color fades, so I’m wearing this in Barbie, a mix of blonde and pink. Cute!

FAIR just opened this weekend, and the Joy skin from Lara Hurley is a total win! I’ve never actually worn one of her skins before [that I can remember], so this was a real joy to try on. I’m a fan now!

As much as I love the night, the morning has me working hard, so I’m off to bed.

Ship To Shore

I have a huge headache today, but I just couldn’t resist showing you all one of the new coats from Coldlogic!

The Shreve coat is just perfection. A long time ago, I had a coat similar to this but of course it was made all out of prims and never looked QUITE right. Mesh was just absolutely made for things like coats and I’m definitely very much in love with this one today!

Several more coats were released today at Coldlogic, along with pants and skirts, so you definitely need to hop on over there and check it out.

Loving a music man ain’t always what it’s supposed to be.

Last night I found myself alone because my dear husband was off being a music man in the non-SL world. [He’s a DJ, he’s not trying to be a rock star.] So I figured I’d put on something sexy while I waited for him to come home.

Cracked Mirror is in Cinema and has the cutest things for it! The Starlet Corset and matching Ruffle Knickers appeal to everything girly in me! They’re mesh and I’m getting an increasing love for mesh lingerie!

Also at Cinema, MudHoney has the Priya bed! Lots of animations in this one! I’m not sure if I put the curtains on the right way, but that’s what happens when I’m left alone.

Truth just released new hair and I am loving the Jemima hair, AND his new color fades pack! I’m so all about different colored hair lately!

And did you hear? SLink released new mesh hands for the women! I absolutely had to fatpack these babies because … well, look! They come in different poses and you can add your rings to them. The wrists are standard sizes, but the hands resize to YOUR hand size. So if you have tiny baby hands or huge massive hands, the hands are pretty much just your size.

No Need For Explanations

There’s no need to go into that room. No…no need at all.

Okay, I’m actually the BIGGEST scaredy cat ever and I hate horror movies. But Pink Outfitters is in the Horror section of Cinema, and I couldn’t resist doing a little bit of a different picture! The Favorite Striped Tee and Cropped Boyfriend Jeans are awesome! And yes, there are absolutely “clean” versions of these items.

Also at Cinema, in the Romance section, Wasabi Pills has this great new Nikki hair! I am a great fan of Wasabi Pills, and I swear their hair just gets better with every release!

Be sure you take off most of your scripted items when you go to Cinema or you won’t be allowed in! I went in with just an AO and it was totally fine. You don’t need to be all dressed up to go. No one cares what you look like, they just want to shop! 🙂

It Was Like A Movie

Cinema is coming on October 13th! Have you heard about this? It’s a fabulous new event brought to you by The Hottie Cooterati Experience and is centered around the movies! There are so many fantastic creators taking part, and I know you all will simply love it. Better start saving those $Lindens if you can, because there’s going to be a lot to shop for!

Zaara is in Cinema and brings us this just simply lovely Runa dress. It’s mesh, of course, and knotted in the front. If you’re like me and adore classic styles, this is the dress for you!

Here In My Deep Purple Dreams

Collabor88 is open! If you like fun, colorful, kitschy things – this is definitely the month for you!

Trompe Loeil did this awesome Dreamy Genie bottle and oh my God, is it cool! You can fit a bunch of your friends in it, and it comes in different colors and in both adult and PG versions.

My lovely lilac Cindy shoes are from Ingenue and I can’t call them anything other than adorable! I love a great wedge, and with the sweet little bows on the tops, they’ll be making a lot of appearances on my feet!

D!va brings us the Norma hair, a messy curly short style that makes me want to just put my fingers in my hair and play with the curls all day. The hair comes with 2 different bangs.

In non-C88 news, last night I had a nice little conversation with PXL skins designer Hart Larsson. What a sweet guy! I’ll admit that I’m not really very familiar with his skins [I tend to find a skin I like and stick with it for ages] but he introduced me to his Kate skin. I just love it! It has a very cute face and lots of makeup options. Total love!

Just a few more hours until the October round of Collabor88 starts! C’mon, take my hand. I’ll drag you there!

Ur.Favorite.One has just the cutest things for C88 this round! The Flamingos Day cardigans and Flamingos panskirts are just fab! The cardigans have that vintage look that I just adore, and the skirts are very cute! I will say that I would like the alpha for the cardigans to be just a little longer on my arms because in certain poses my skin pokes out, but I’ll mod an alpha at some point.

Yummy has a Plastic Charm Necklace for C88 that is just soooo much like the ones from the 80s!! Did you all have them? I collected charms like crazy back then. I’m just thrilled with this necklace!

If you haven’t been out to see Cica Ghost’s Black and White World, you need to go! I went out there last night and it was amazing! I plan on visiting often!
