You Were Only Waiting For This Moment To Arise

I love when new stuff comes out. I really do! And I love it even more when it’s pretty pretty pretty!

Ava is a new skin from Belleza, and I fell in love with it at first demo! In fact, and I hardly EVER say this about a skin, but I have not seen anyone in it who doesn’t look amazing. If you fatpack it, you get the whole lipstick bundle, too, although you could just buy the plain skin and then the lips and then use whatever eye makeups you like. It’s quite versatile! I fatpacked, of course, because it’s what I do.

Truth released new hair and Edith may be my favorite of the three new releases. It’s a gorgeous long hair topped with a casual knit cap. More hats and more accessories on hairs, please!!

Cae is in Collabor88 this month and she’s spoiling us with the loopy swoopy Guinevere set. Look how cool the necklace is! And the earrings, which you can’t see under my hair, have not left my ears since the first of the month.

I love when I can put a new skin on and not have to change a thing about my shape. It’s VERY VERY rare that it happens because not all skins are going to look good on me. In fact, most don’t unless I tweak my shape to get it to look right. Of course, I’m tweaking my shape every week anyway. I’m definitely not in the “NEVER TOUCH MY SHAPE” crowd! So I was super happy to try on Adam n Eve‘s new Siobhan skin last night and feel pretty instantly – with no tweaking!

It’s a different look for me, since I tend to look more like jailbait [Y que?] but I love it! The lips…oh my god, these lips! Just kissably soft! Also, if you’ve never tried an Adam n Eve skin before, trust me when I say the body is just as wonderful as the face!

Truth put out some new hairs a few days ago, including the aptly named Winter. I love the style of this one, but what really makes it special is the scarf! I love when hairmakers put scarves or hats or other accessories on the hairs because you all know how hard it is to have to mod stuff and try to get it to fit right! Now, if Mr. Hawks will release this hair without the scarf…

The With Love hunt starts today at 4pm SLT! And here’s another little taste of Coldlogic‘s new releases this week, just in case you needed another reason to go!

Always Another Show

As I was mentioning in a comment to another post here, I’m not much of a skin addict. I know, I know. I LIKE new skins, I love love love to go demo skins, but I’m picky and once I find a skin that is ME, I won’t change for a while. But, I’m trying to branch out a little bit and find new skins, and you know I’d never lead you guys to an ugly skin that I wouldn’t wear myself. So with that said, how cute is the Faith skin from PXL??

It’s a little more mature than my normal younger looking face, but I think that’s what I like about it! When I look at a skin, I look at it from head to toe and all the bits in between, and believe me when I say this one is just fab! This one that I’m wearing is the PXL VIP group gift, and if you’re in the group [and really, you should be], you can receive 25% off of all Faith skin tones and makeups until October 27th!

Have you been to Zodiac yet? No? You need to go so you can get the Jenny strapless blouse from Pink Outfitters! It’s ladylike and simple, but still sexy! I found that the top of the blouse was bigger than what I’m normally used to in a Medium size, so if you’re more busty than I am, you should have no problems fitting into this!

Here In My Deep Purple Dreams

Collabor88 is open! If you like fun, colorful, kitschy things – this is definitely the month for you!

Trompe Loeil did this awesome Dreamy Genie bottle and oh my God, is it cool! You can fit a bunch of your friends in it, and it comes in different colors and in both adult and PG versions.

My lovely lilac Cindy shoes are from Ingenue and I can’t call them anything other than adorable! I love a great wedge, and with the sweet little bows on the tops, they’ll be making a lot of appearances on my feet!

D!va brings us the Norma hair, a messy curly short style that makes me want to just put my fingers in my hair and play with the curls all day. The hair comes with 2 different bangs.

In non-C88 news, last night I had a nice little conversation with PXL skins designer Hart Larsson. What a sweet guy! I’ll admit that I’m not really very familiar with his skins [I tend to find a skin I like and stick with it for ages] but he introduced me to his Kate skin. I just love it! It has a very cute face and lots of makeup options. Total love!

Oh My NOLA

I’ve been to Louisiana several times, but I’ve never made it as far as New Orleans. Luckily Barnesworth Anubis brought a little piece of New Orleans to us for Collabor88 with his New Orleans Studio skybox!

I’m still rolling around in fantastic new releases from Coldlogic. The Keach sweater dress is just so awesome. It looks like something I’d wear all winter long because I’m usually freezing to death.

Pink Fuel finally released the Kumi skin last night! I had to rush right over to grab a demo and then go right back to buy it! I’m in love with it, so expect to see me in it a LOT.

Vintage Fair Starts Today!

Vintage Fair 2012 kicks off today! SO EXCITED! I’m short on time this morning, but I just HAD to show you guys a little more stuff!

I know, I’m not usually a redhead, but I was simply called to this color when I put on the Veronica hair by Wasabi Pills! I’ve been looking for a good Veronica Lake style hair in SL forever, and this one is perfect! Especially paired up with the new Vintage Hollywood skin from Adam n Eve! You get a bunch of lipsticks, eye shadows and nail colors with this skin as well, so you can definitely make your own look.

One Bad Pixel brings us the Vintage dress, and I’m not sure when I’ll take it off. It also comes with a smart cropped jacket, which I’m not wearing in the photo but can’t wait to pair with many other things! And of course you know SLink never disappoints your feet, and these adorable Vintage Two Strap pumps are so very yum!

A Little Fall of Rain

Oh my word, it is good to be back!! I came down with a nasty bug last week and my reaction to some meds was bad bad bad! So while I was laid up in bed away from my computer, I was just crazed to get back because it was opening weekend for Collabor88!!

This month at Collabor88 you can pick up the wonderful Minna blouse, Heron skirt, and Heron parasol by The Sea Hole! I really don’t know what I like more! But I’ll tell you, I have been a SUCKER for a parasol since I was a kid. Seriously! Ask my mom how many little lacy parasols I had for just no reason. The theme this month is Culture Fusion for Collabor88, and the colors and prints of these items just scream it. Love!

While I was gone, Mr. Truth released what might be my most favorite hair of his EVER. The Leesa hair is this big poofy messy bun right on top of the head and oh, I am so in LOVE. And Adam n Eve released the new Harper skin that I really think should have been called Alicia, it’s so very much MY face!

Coming home is sweet, but coming home to such amazing new stuff is even better!

Winter’s Edge

I LOVE the 7th of the month. Want to know why? Because it’s the day before Collabor88 starts!! Yeah baby! This month’s theme is a great one, too. Winter’s Edge – The edgier side of winter, harsher than the soft exposure of last month. It’s fab! It’s also the Collabor88 Prom for our designers! Each designer has picked another creator to be their date to accompany them this month, so that means DOUBLE the things for you to buy!

This is a MESH skybox, so perfect for photos or if you’re into living in a different sort of setting than a traditional house. You can’t tell in the photo, but there is snow actually falling behind the windows! I just adore it so much! The skybox is mod/copy and 91 prims.

Pretty pretty pretty! From Ingenue for Collabor88, I’m wearing the Cyd dress, which is around the neck halter style and has a slim mesh skirt. If you haven’t tried one of the mesh skirts from Ingenue, this is THE time to get one because I promise you won’t be able to stop looking at your behind while you’re wearing it. And Caroline’s Jewelry is with us this month with the very lovely Gunmetal & Gems necklace and earrings set. So gorgeous!

A Little Deanie

Oh, it is so good to be home! I have been itching to get back to my blog! [I know, I know, that sounds lame.] But with Collabor88 starting, and Vintage Fair coming, can you blame me? I’m amazed at the items the creators have put out for both events. It’s a bad month for your wallets, but OH…such a good month for getting tons of pretty new things! This outfit reminded me, a little bit, of Natalie Wood when she played Deanie Loomis in the movie “Splendor In The Grass.” Ever seen it? You should. It’s fab!

At the Vintage Fair, I found this beautiful Chiffon Calais dress from new-to-me store Lisa L. I’m a total sucker for lace, so I just had to snatch it right up!

The new Vintage skin from Curio is so sweet and old fashioned! With the added tattoo pencil brows, you feel like you stepped right back in time. It’s perfect with the new Soft hair from Elikatira for Collabor88 this month!
