Endless Summer

Do you ever have times during the summer where it just seems like the heat is endless and all you want to do is … nothing? I’m in that phase right now. But even if you want to do nothing, you should still go shopping!

Paper Arrow Co. is a new store on the grid and definitely one to keep your eye on! They are in Fifty Linden Friday today with the navy Flip.Flops that I’m wearing in this pic, and also a necklace that while I am wearing it, you can’t really see it because of my hair. Hey, fail blogger. 🙂 If you join the store group right now [100L join fee now, upping to 250L next month], you can get a pair of the Beach Shorts in the antique color for free! The shorts are super cute and have the add-on “bikini” bottom piece. If you want a different color, they have the full line out at Summerfest.

Speaking of Summerfest, Nomad is there with the Industrial Daybeds. These are a definite must-have for your summer, especially if you do a lot of sitting on the beach or camping. There are 2 types, a single and a double. There are wheels underneath, but I think this would be super cute floating in the water.

It’s A Big Big Love

Guess what?? Summerfest starts tomorrow! Woo! For a summer girl like me, this is definitely the most wonderful time of the year. [What? You thought it was Christmas? Pfft.]

!Ohmai has the best thing that your beach was missing. SEAGULLS! There are 6 different species, and some can be worn and some can be rezzed. They ARE noisy, just like real seagulls!

MishMish is also at Summerfest with some Baby Axolotls! Have you ever seen the real life version? Omg, too twee and cute! These are just as adorable and you have the option of rezzing your baby axolotl to walk around, or you can take him on adventures in his portable aquarium!

Summerfest starts tomorrow, June 20th, so get your wallets ready!

On The Dirty Boulevard

So I’ll admit, I haven’t had much blogging mojo lately. It’s not that there are not good things to blog. There is pretty much always an overabundance of good things to blog, which is sometimes as bad as too little. Because, well, I get overwhelmed easily! But my sister took us to a sim last night and then everything fell together.

Salt & Pepper is a store that’s new to me, but how cool is the Eleanor outfit? I feel like you could use this in different ways for roleplaying or just in your everyday SLife. This particular outfit is found at We Love Roleplay this month, so the roleplay part is right! There are different colors of this outfit, and each single color has a HUD to change the color of the piping, yoke, and metal bits. If you fatpack, of course you get to mix and match everything.

The Sharon hair from Wasabi Pills out at FaMESHed this month really goes with this outfit because of the studded headband. The headband has a HUD to change the band and stud color. I’m not usually a big fan of studded items, but I like this a lot. And the headband is optional so you can wear the pretty hair without it.

Beautiful Now

So I’m a makeup girl. Always have been, ever since I was 3 years old and my oldest sister taught me all about makeup and how to apply a full face of makeup. [Don’t worry, I never left the house with makeup on until I was 12. This wasn’t some Toddlers and Tiaras situation.] I don’t wear makeup quite as much these days but I still love it. And I was especially in love with this round of The Arcade because of two sets!

The Jolie set from Tres Blah and the Makeup Junkie set from Second Spaces are EVERYTHING to me right now. I cannot tell you how much time I’ve spent staring at the little bottles and tubes, reading all the words, and just really loving the whole thing. The work that Elle and Julliette put into both their sets is outstanding and I’m so here for it.

I Met You In The Summer

Hi, bunnies! I don’t know about where you guys live, but it went from wet wet spring to hot hot summer here really quickly! But it’s totally put me in the summer mood, and thanks to The Arcade and The Multicultural Menu, I can live out my beach fantasy!

It seems almost strange that The Arcade only just opened up on Monday since I’m pretty much done with my list. I am in love with Zaara‘s set for The Arcade! The Goa Party set is just awesome! The Morjim bikini and the Arpora Fisherman’s pants are everything to me right now. I just adore them! And I love the Palolem beach shack, too! So so beachy cute!

There is gacha at The Multicultural Menu, and that’s where you can get the Tahitian Feast by Kei-Spot. The set comes with 10 awesome items so you can get your beach eats on, and some of the pieces have items to wear and to rez out.

Time To Eat!

Hello, bunnies! It’s a long running joke in my family that I never feed my children. *laughs* But I don’t think we’ll have that problem anymore because The Multicultural Menu has started and we have loads of new and exotic food! Well, exotic to me because some of this, I’ve never heard of before!

Second Spaces is in the South Pacific area of the event, and she’s brought us Lamingtons! These are commonly found in Australia. I had nooo idea what lamingtons were before now. If you don’t know, they are little squares of sponge cake, coated in chocolate sauce, and covered in dried coconut. YUM!

Kaerri is also in the South Pacific with a great set of food from New Zealand! I’m using the Kiwi Smoothy Pitcher and the Anzac Cookies in this photo. I’d never heard of anzac cookies before [or biscuits, as they call them] but I totally want to try one now. They are, if my google-fu is strong, an oatmeal coconut cookie, and I can’t NOT get on board with that.
