Always Another Show

As I was mentioning in a comment to another post here, I’m not much of a skin addict. I know, I know. I LIKE new skins, I love love love to go demo skins, but I’m picky and once I find a skin that is ME, I won’t change for a while. But, I’m trying to branch out a little bit and find new skins, and you know I’d never lead you guys to an ugly skin that I wouldn’t wear myself. So with that said, how cute is the Faith skin from PXL??

It’s a little more mature than my normal younger looking face, but I think that’s what I like about it! When I look at a skin, I look at it from head to toe and all the bits in between, and believe me when I say this one is just fab! This one that I’m wearing is the PXL VIP group gift, and if you’re in the group [and really, you should be], you can receive 25% off of all Faith skin tones and makeups until October 27th!

Have you been to Zodiac yet? No? You need to go so you can get the Jenny strapless blouse from Pink Outfitters! It’s ladylike and simple, but still sexy! I found that the top of the blouse was bigger than what I’m normally used to in a Medium size, so if you’re more busty than I am, you should have no problems fitting into this!

Happy Saturday, everyone! Ooh, there’s so much new, let’s hurry and get started!

Collabor88 starts tomorrow, and check out the Davenport mesh tops from The Sea Hole! The theme for this month’s event is Pink Flamingos. “Pink Flamingos” – A colorcentric Theme summed up in the non mainstream cinematic expoits of John waters, Plastic kitschyness and General Deviance. It’s going to be FUN!

Mr. Truth put out new hair last night, and I am totally in love with the new Mayim updo! Have you checked out Truth‘s new color fades pack? I’m very into the whole idea of dip dyed hair or colorful pieces [having made part of my RL hair pink recently!] so the new colors make me very happy!

And last but not least, the new Equestrian boots at Gos are just so…well, no words! I just can’t stop looking at my feet! Long and lean boots with a lovely stiletto heel? I can’t think of anything better for my feet this season! As most of you know, Gospel‘s dear kitty was recently in an accident and after receiving so much support, the very classy Mr. Voom has decided to raise money for the PDSA – The People’s Dispensary for Sick Animals – by creating a special edition of each new release. You can read all about it on his blog. 🙂

I’ll Be Your Teenage Dream

I have always loved a short plaid skirt. Yes, they can sometimes come off as too schoolgirlish, but plaid? Never goes out of style. Plus, this outfit got a big thumbs up from the husband, so yay for that!

Eclectic Wingtips did such a fabulous job for FaMESHed this month! The Grace turtlenecks and Allure skirts are just what I’ve been looking for in SL lately! I went a bit more “young” with my look, but you can easily pair the turtleneck with jeans, or the skirt with tights and boots. I want all the colors now!

Autumn Time

I just love autumn as a season. Football games, marching band contests, lots of pretty falling leaves and pumpkins, and of course pulling out the jeans and sweaters! Of course, in my neck of the woods, we’re usually still wearing shorts until Thanksgiving, but in SL, it’s definitely time to start pulling out the cooler weather clothes!

Coldlogic just released a whole bunch of new items, and I fell in deep love with the Shereda top! A lovely cropped sweater over a pretty cowl necked shirt? Oh, yes PLEASE! I never want to take it off!

At FaMESHed this month, Auxiliary released their new Skinny jeans. I’ll admit, I’m not a huge fan of skinny jeans, but these are just fabulous! They’re low rise and make your booty just look amazing. And while you’re picking these up at FaMESHed, be sure to grab the Noriko hair from Wasabi Pills. I’m not a short hair kind of girl normally, but this hair is so adorable, I can’t seem to take it off!

Awww yeah! Collabor88 for July is starting up! I get so freaking excited for each round because each time, the participating designers just totally bring it! The palette for this month’s theme is “Bleached,” so it’s neutral and gorgeous!

Are You Hungry?

I’m always hungry for more mesh goodies. In fact…I’m FaMESHed!! Haha…see what I did there? No, seriously, the new FaMESHed for June is awesome!

I’m not really familiar with the store MONS, but I’m happy they’re in FaMESHed this month! The Sha top and the jeans from their Summer Love Collection are just so sweet and cool for the summer. I’m actually not a fan of jeans that are different colors other than regular blue or black, but as soon as I saw these, I HAD to throw them on. Just lovely!

Oh! And you need to stop by SLink! The Ilena sandals are seriously my new summer staple. The BEST part? They are to be worn with the rigged mesh Barefeet from SLink! So if you already have the feet [and if you don’t, you SHOULD because they’re fabulous] you just have to wear your new sandals. No having to tint more feet! So fab! If you DON’T have the Barefeet, you need to get them if you want to wear these sandals. I’m hoping this means Siddean is going to make more flat sandals for the Barefeet!

Summer Joy

I think everyone knows that I am TOTALLY a summer girl. Nothing makes me happier than to see those temperatures rising and wake up to sunshine every morning. Luckily for me, creators are coming out with awesome new stuff to keep this summer girl happy in SL!

Jane has new mesh goodies for us! The Sweet n Low jeans are really great because they’re casual enough to wear with sandals [or no shoes at all!] but can be paired up with your favorite heels for a night out! They do have 2 length options, too, just for this reason! What I really like is that they are lower rise, BUT not so low that you need to worry about sharing the goods if you bend the wrong way. The Casey halter was just made for these jeans because it is flowy and the hem is up enough that you get a cute glimpse of belly. I know these halters will be in my summer rotation because unlike some halters I have similar to this, it doesn’t cut into my pants.

Funky Junk has this awesome Summertime Dock out at the Home & Garden Expo. It comes with the lanterns, but if you want the furniture, you can buy it separately at the Expo. The dock comes with sits, and a few length options. Both the dock and the furniture are RFL items, so buy them and you’ll be donating to a great cause!

And hello? Do you see my hair? How is the new Lola Summer mesh hair from Wasabi Pills just NOT the best little look for summer? Braided pigtails and a hair kerchief? Love! Total love!

All Kinds Of Shopping!

With all the events, I definitely need my strength, so I went to buy groceries! I know the husband will be happy. We almost never eat!

Actually, this pose is from the Market Day set by aDORKable Poses that will be sold at Culture Shock! So cute!

Aura has these cute Ruffled Boho Tops for Stumblebum! They’re mesh!! And they go great with the recently released Cuffed Denim Shorts from Mon Tissu. I have been searching for shorts like this my entire SLife!

For FaMESHed, Gos brings us the Triumph boots in Denim! They have the option to have the leg part up, or rolled down like I have it here. The boots come in both male and female versions. Also at FaMESHed, you can get this cool Ketama ring from Maxi Gossamer! It’s color change, and I’m wearing it in silver and white. It attaches to your ring finger, but since that’s where I wear my wedding ring, I moved it to my index finger. There’s a bigger one for your right hand, as well.
