Yeah, I’d Go Again

Hey bunnies! I think about traveling a lot. I’m not in a place in my life right now where traveling too far away or for more than a day or two is really an option, but I certainly do think about it. When I was younger, I used to think about just leaving. Get in the car, drive until I found some little town, work in a diner, buy a tiny house. Considering my insane shopping habit and my weekly whine about having to wash my clothes at the laundromat because our apartment didn’t have a washer… well, I’m pretty sure had I run away, I would have come back the first time I couldn’t find a decent nail salon. (This was the early 2000s. My nails were always done.)

Being more in touch with my boho side now, I think I would be better suited for that tiny town life. But then again, maybe not. I don’t think there would be a very good internet connection out there.

High School Never Ends

Happy Monday, bunnies! So I feel like I’m a bit different than a lot of my SL friends in that I actually had a really wonderful high school experience. I didn’t realize how open and accepting my school was until I started meeting people online who had just huge horror stories about their schools! I loved my high school life. I think I went to school during a good time, though. We had limited internet and no social media. That really could have only worked in my favor because honestly? I’m not saying I would have started drama, but… I’m not saying I wouldn’t have jumped in either.

But one thing is for total sure. Almost all of my high school photos would have had me in overalls. Because that’s just how I rolled.

And She Was

Hello bunnies! So somewhere in my parents’ house, there is a photo of my older sister taken some time in the early 80s. I’m not sure who took it. But she’s standing like this, outside of the high school, lost in thought. I thought she was probably cutting class, but she never said if that was what she was doing. I always loved all the photos from that time. It seems like being a high schooler in the 1980s was so much cooler than any other time. Or maybe that was just my interpretation of it because I was so young and my sisters, who were a lot older than me, just seemed so cool and I wanted to be like that.

Of course, I still can’t manage it. In my sister’s photo, she was smoking, not chewing bubble gum.

Just What I Needed

Hello bunnies! So I’ve always been pretty open about being an introvert. I need time to myself like I need a heartbeat. And outwardly, I think I seem pretty chill most of the time. But the people who know me best know that I can be incredibly needy! And (in a joking way 99% of the time) I am super dramatic. Aldwyn got a new phone this week and forgot to put the app that we use to message each other on the new phone. I may have claimed that he went out for cigarettes and was never coming home, abandoning me to be a single mother. I may also have mentioned that maybe he was dead because he’s old. *laughs* When I asked him later if he thought I was dramatic, he said no. If that ain’t love…

We Are The Change That We Seek

Hey bunnies! Happy Monday! Oh, I’m just so happy this Monday. I mean, I’m one of the rare people who actually doesn’t mind a Monday, so I know what I’m about to say next will shock no one because apparently I’m weird. But I also am so thrilled to death about the time change! I love when we “spring forward” on the clocks!! The time just feels natural and right to me, unlike in the fall when we “fall back” and I feel sick and sad for ages. I’ve seen almost nothing but complaints about it, though, so I guess I’m one of the few who is happy about having extra sun in the evening rather than in the morning. But I feel like it’s a good time for starting projects and making changes, too.

So my Monday wish for all of you is not just that you take this week and make it a great one, but you take this new season and change the things that are holding you down. You all deserve nothing but good things, so go out there and start making it happen! ❤

This Is The Greatest Show!

Hey bunnies! So last night I finally got to see The Greatest Showman. Oh my GOSH. I loved it soooo much!! Of course, I am a huge fan of musicals, and I had already listened to the soundtrack probably 100 times, so I knew I’d like it. But watching it made me just fall in love! Rewind ended a couple of days ago, so I’m not sure if my outfit for today is in the store yet, but once it is, you MUST get it!

When I was younger, probably early teens, I always thought it would be super romantic to be out to eat with a guy and have him be SO in love with me, he just had to propose right then and there with an onion ring. *laughs* Now?
