What’s New, Pussycat?

I picked a great time to get over my cold that had me knocked out last week because there’s lots of new goodies from Collabor88 and Coldlogic!

Kitsch is the theme for this month’s Collabor88 and the creators really had fun with the theme! There are a lot of brightly colored items in fun prints, if that’s your thing, it’s absolutely worth a look! I’m all about bright colors, so naturally I found this month’s theme wonderful!

Coldlogic released some new dresses today and oh my goodness… If you like cleavage, you will LOVE a few of the dresses!! I’m wearing the Bailey dress. It looks more modest, but it’s backless and I find that a lot more sexy than showing a ton of cleavage sometimes!

I’ll admit, I am a home decorating junkie! I pick up so much home and garden stuff, it is probably the biggest folder in my entire inventory, and that’s really saying something if you’ve ever seen my inventory. I’m happy every day that I log into Second Life, but I’m even happier when there’s new pretties to get!

Coldlogic just did a new release and I’m so into this Norton combo! It comes in several colors, of course, but the coral color just called out to me! You also have the option of just using the cardigan. Yay!

And oh my gosh, how perfect does the Khaleesi’s Temptation necklace from Maxi Gossamer for Collabor88 work with this outfit?? Total love!

Happy Valentine’s Day, Baby.

Happy Valentine’s Day, everyone! Last night, my adorable husband came home and saw me. His first words were, “Are you only wearing a trench coat?” Nope….I have shoes on, too.

Working For The Weekend

Back when I used to work in offices, I liked outfits that I could take from day to night with a few little adjustments. My outfit today reminds me of something I would have worn back then.

I decided to hit up two new-to-me stores today! I know, after my Coldlogic kick, it’s probably a shock! :-p First up, I hit VinCue and got the Knotty tank. It’s so cute! I love the little tie in the front. The cool thing about this is that while I’m wearing it basically solid here, it comes with a HUD and while the top part stays whatever color you buy, the bottom has 9 colors to choose from. Love!

Then I ran over to Mutresse and picked the Simona trousers. You can never ever go wrong with a classic pair of trousers that have a flattering cut!

Zaara just released new mesh jewels! The Atiriya jewelry set is just total love. I’m wearing the necklace and a bracelet, but there are earrings as well. I didn’t put them on because with my new [and so super cute!] Lavinia hair from Truth, they wouldn’t have shown.

Dressing For Jesus [With Love To December!]

We were having a discussion on plurk last night about an upcoming fair that caters more to the more trampy side of SL and my friend December said, “I need a Dressing For Jesus fair.” See, not everyone in SL WANTS to have their “boobadoos” out all of the time. Once in a while, SURE!! But all of the time? Nooo. Some of us want clothes that are cute and cover our bodies. Not that there’s anything wrong with having your bits and pieces all out there for the world to see constantly if that’s REALLY what you want out of SLife, but for some of us, we like simple clothing that is both lovely and modest.

I dedicate this post to December, someone who proves that you can be adorable and beloved in both worlds without your “Virginia and Cleveland” on display. ♥♥♥

She Refused To Be Bored Chiefly Because She Wasn’t Boring

One of my pet peeves is when someone says they’re bored a lot. Really? With everything that’s going on in the world, you’re constantly bored? What the heck is wrong with you?? How can you be bored?? Well, there’s no WAY you can be bored today because Coldlogic just released new clothes!

The Lovern dress is totally a love for me! I love how it’s the perfect blend of fancy and casual. I paired it up with the new Hill mesh leggings. These leggings are very awesome in that they come with 3 different cuffs so you can wear with different shoes. I’m wearing them in cuff #3, which is about mid-calf. I did have to do some minor editing to my leg warmers from G Field to fit the leg over the legging, but truly, they were very small edits. They also come with leggings for dresses that are much slimmer on the hips. Don’t get scared like I did when you try on your regular size and find that you’re muffin topping like crazy!

Time to do more shopping!

You Were Only Waiting For This Moment To Arise

I love when new stuff comes out. I really do! And I love it even more when it’s pretty pretty pretty!

Ava is a new skin from Belleza, and I fell in love with it at first demo! In fact, and I hardly EVER say this about a skin, but I have not seen anyone in it who doesn’t look amazing. If you fatpack it, you get the whole lipstick bundle, too, although you could just buy the plain skin and then the lips and then use whatever eye makeups you like. It’s quite versatile! I fatpacked, of course, because it’s what I do.

Truth released new hair and Edith may be my favorite of the three new releases. It’s a gorgeous long hair topped with a casual knit cap. More hats and more accessories on hairs, please!!

Cae is in Collabor88 this month and she’s spoiling us with the loopy swoopy Guinevere set. Look how cool the necklace is! And the earrings, which you can’t see under my hair, have not left my ears since the first of the month.
