Happy Valentine’s Day, Baby.

Happy Valentine’s Day, everyone! Last night, my adorable husband came home and saw me. His first words were, “Are you only wearing a trench coat?” Nope….I have shoes on, too.

Style - Happy Valentine's Day, Baby

Have you heard about the Coldlogic anniversary photo contest? You could receive all new releases for a WHOLE YEAR if you win! Who wouldn’t love that, right?? Just go over here to the blog post to find out all the details!

If you’re part of the Gos Boutique in-world group, head on over to the store to pick up your free pair of red glitter Grace heels! Remember, you have to be part of the Gos BOUTIQUE group, not the Collective! It is a $500L joining fee now, so if you didn’t get in on it while it was free last week, you’ll need to pay. It’s worth it, though!

Collabor88 is still going strong and although a little late to the party, Barnesworth Anubis has his new Chinoiserie bedroom set out now! There are a BUNCH of animations in the bed…you know, for all your Valentine needs. *wink wink nudge nudge*

I’m gonna go spend my WHOLE ENTIRE TEN LINDENS that Linden Labs was so nice to give us last night. Have a great day, everyone!

Well, That’s What I Saw Her In.

When I put this outfit on, I thought of that line from Mean Girls. “I saw Cady Heron wearing army pants and flip flops, so I bought army pants and flip flops.”

There’s a big 50% off sale at Coldlogic right now AND there are new releases today, like the Waid top that I’m wearing, that fall under the sale price! It’s win win for everyone! Expect my next post to have me covered in Coldlogic!

But today, I wanted to let you all know about a photo contest that’s going on!

Style - Well that's what I saw her in

FATEwear will be releasing soon, and there’s a photo contest going on for it! I guess this is mostly for men being that FATEwear is for the guys, but ladies, you know you can get in on it, too. It’s super simple. Just pop on over to the store and get into the subscriber. You’ll receive the Carter outfit. [I’m wearing the shorts in my picture!] Get in the outfit, take a great picture, and submit it to the FATEdesign flickr group. If you’re the winner, you’ll receive the ENTIRE launch collection!!

Have fun!

Clickety Click

Hey guys! I actually have a favor to ask you all today, so let’s get the pic out of the way first. 🙂

Style - Clickety Click

My friend Renee is trying to win a mobility vehicle. With her medical condition, being able to just get in a car and go somewhere is very hard for her. Not that I’ve ever heard her complain! If anything, she has probably one of the brightest outlooks on life out of anyone I’ve ever met in SL. So what I’m asking is that you take a minute out of your day to head to her voting page and give her a vote. You don’t need a promo code [although if you have time to find one, that would be great because it gives her 5 votes the first time you vote.] It’s just a clickety click on your part, but it could mean helping a sweet girl get back out there and do the things she wants to do. Let’s help one of our own!

Thank you in advance! 🙂

Here are some of the important details!

1. To be eligible for submission the picture must include a -CLICK- Prop with use of at least one pose from a -CLICK- Product.

2. Photos must be done in high resolution (exception is the Most Natural title. These will be accepted as snapshots ONLY to ensure no post-processing has been done). Photos should be perfectly square sized as a 1024×1024.

3. Only the photographer is eligible for the prize, not the model. Photographers may model in their own photos.

4. You may submit up to 10 pictures but you may only win 1 prize per category.

5. Photos for the Most Popular prize will be sorted and a max of 100 will be displayed for popular vote at The Renaissance Galleria.

1. Please title all photos: -CLICK- Photo Contest (Title of picture, Your Name).

2. Place photo(s) in ONE folder titled: -CLICK- Photo Contest (Your Name)
**Even if you only submit one photo, please place the photo inside a FOLDER.**

3. Photos must be submitted as FULL PERMS. Submitting a photo grants -CLICK-, The Best of SL and all sponsors full rights to the picture. Photos will not be sold or altered (other than possible cropping or resizing, and typeface may be added for ads), but may be used for advertisements in The Best of SL Magazine or at any of the sponsor locations.

4. Failure to title photos properly or failure to submit a full perms photo will disqualify your entry.

5. Submit your folder to Click Memo by Midnight SLT on June 22nd. LATE ENTRIES WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.

I won’t get into all the prizes, but the first place winner? $10,000L, baby! Plus loads of gift cards, skins and clothes from places like Glitterati, Exposeur, Exodi, and more! In total, it’s worth over $46,000L!!

Musashi-Do & SySy’s Designs Sponsor The World Holidays 2009 Exhibition and Contest

I don’t usually post a lot about contests in here, but this one, I simply have to tell you guys about!

Currently happening on the 4th floor of the Musashi-Do mainstore is the Milano Holidays 2009 Photograph Exhibit. You can see awesome photos taken of Milan, Italy, by designer Shiryu Musashi. You also can get a free photo every day, or purchase a charity frame for $250L, with the proceeds from that going to Toys For Tots. I’ve seen the photos, and since Italy is a dream destination of mine, I absolutely love the exhibit!

But the World Holidays 2009 exhibition will open on December 20th, and this is where you guys come in! You need to send photos of YOUR local area and how it gets dressed up for the holidays! You can find all the rules and legal stuff on this page of the Musashi-Do blog, but let me tell you about the prizes!!

1st: 1 copy of every outfit Musashi-Do releases from December the 20th 2009 onwards, for life!
2nd: 1 copy of every outfit SySy’s releases from December the 20th 2009 onwards, for life!
3rd to 10th: a 1000 L$ Musashi-Do Gift Card + a 1000 L$ Sysy Gift Card!

Pretty nice! Who wouldn’t want free new releases for life from both of these wonderful designers??

Now if you’ll excuse me…I need to go take some pics!
