And I Say It’s All Right

Hello, bunnies! Don’t be sad, but this is my last post! Welllll… okay, my last post until probably after August 10th. 🙂 I am heading to the beach in RL!! This will be my first non-family, non-funeral type vacation in many many years! Naturally I’m super stressed out about it, but I’m sure all that will melt away the moment I sink my toes in the sand. I’ve read that trips to the ocean have a lot of health benefits, so I’m excited to see if that’s true. I won’t have SL access while I’m there, so I couldn’t leave without one more post!

Remember, you only have a few more days to get to The Epiphany! I think the best part of this event for me was finding new-to-me stores like Luas! The Ludmila skirt and top are just darling! Makes me want to run around and belly dance all over the place. And isn’t my Budgie Baby cute as heck?? He’s from Birdy for The Epiphany, and I just love his little face!

And don’t forget about Uber! You should go because Truth has this wonderful Ami hair there! The super luscious fishtail braid in the back makes me want to just sink my fingers into it!

Everything Feels Right Just Like It’s Meant To Be

Hi, bunnies! I’m up late because it was just a really good day and sometimes you just don’t want them to end! My family had a dance in the rainforest and just being together felt so good. We all just love love love music and laughing about the silliest things, so it was just perfect.

I’m definitely more of a boho girl, so the Boho Headchain, Boho Bracelet, and Boho Earrings I got from The Forge for The Epiphany just were everything I wanted to wear for tonight’s dance! I just LOVED that the headpiece was unrigged and modifiable because it meant I was able to make it work perfectly. Remember that this round of The Epiphany ends on August 4th, so hurry and shop!

I’ve been eyeing the Serena outfit from Les Petits Details for a while, but couldn’t figure out where I’d wear it. Tonight gave me the perfect opportunity!! The skirt goes all the way to the ground [and maybe a tad further if you’re short] so you can just forget about shoes if you want. Which, you know, I totally did. It’s separates, too, so if you want to wear the top with jeans or the skirt with a bikini top – hey, do your thing, jellybean!

It’s almost 3am for me, so I guess it’s time to put an end to my perfect day!

Daughter Of The Forest

So have you been to The Epiphany yet? If not – you gotta go!! There is only a week left!

Today I’m frolicking in nature wearing some of my awesome new finds from The Epiphany. My outfit is from the Forest Druid set by Fawny! The Staff is a rare item, but I didn’t have any trouble getting it. My fabulous Mahi Gladiator sandals by Reign for The Epiphany are also rares, but again, I didn’t have any problems getting them from the machine. In fact, I think I got them on my first pull. I think that might have been my favorite part of playing at The Epiphany. I got a lot of rares without too many problems! Or I was just lucky. Either way, I’ll take it! 🙂

My super pretty Liv hair by Due is also at The Epiphany, as are my equally super pretty Cora eyes by Buzzeri. And the Female Garden Statue and the rare Garden rocks and dirt are bot by Black Bantam [sorry, I couldn’t find a mainstore SLurl!] and also found at The Epiphany. Soooo many goodies!!

Chillin’ With The ‘Mingoes

Hey, bunnies! So I’ll admit that I’m not a super fashionista or anything on a daily basis. I’m just not. But when we’re on vacation, it gets worse because I just want to wear things that are cute and comfy! And, you know, things that I can wear when hanging out with people – or ‘mingoes!

Pixicat has the cutest item for Fifty Linden Friday this week! The Vibrant Vest in the Aztec print is awesome! This is not something that I’d usually wear [vests kind of remind me of middle school], but the moment I saw it, I fell in love. The “shirt” part is able to be tinted, but if you don’t want to wear it, you can put your own top underneath. I’m guessing applier tops would work best. It’s only $50L today, so give it a try!

Covered Up Just Enough

Hi, bunnies! We have made it to the rainforest! I have been threatening to go pantsless while on vacation. This starts day one. 🙂

Blueberry is one of my favorite stores these days, and they are at N21 this round with the Tyrkinis! These bikinis are fabulous. They fit amazingly and the cut is perfect. Good booty coverage in the back, but still showing just enough skin. Love!

Have you been out to Hair Fair yet? I kinda hovered on the next sim over on opening day and cammed in so I could get the Catellena hair from Oleander. [No relation to my family!] Oleander really has super cute hair, if you’re not too familiar with them yet. They also have put out a really generous gift at the Hair Fair, so be sure you also pick that up when you go get this one!

Oh, let’s talk about my Owl watch for a second! I had never heard of the store MYNX before, but recently was given a big selection of items to review. This watch might be one of my favorite pieces ever! So much cute!

It’s A Long Way Down The Holiday Road

Hello, bunnies! Well, I’m off on another adventure! The family is heading back to the rainforest for some much needed post-camp relaxation! Luckily, Abby and I are still pretty packed from camp, so I just needed to throw some things together for Birdy and Aldwyn so we can head out tomorrow! Sooo ready to go!

Paper Arrow Co. is in N21 this round with the Cozy.Tee. I am just in love with these tops because as you all know, I like to dress comfy whenever I can and sometimes it’s super hard to find just plain tees to wear with shorts or jeans or pajama bottoms. There are plain colors, but I’m kind of infatuated by this one with pineapples! These shirts come in standard size XS/S/M only, and have 2 that are rigged for the Belleza bodies. I’m kind of hoping for Slink and/or Maitreya sizes soon!

Truth released new hair over the weekend and I just adore the Lola hair! Mostly because it’s my sister’s name, but also because it’s just cute! I can never resist a good, thick ponytail and Truth always makes great ones.

You know, vacations are perfect selfie opportunities and now you can have your own selfie stick with the Oh, Snap! poses by NanTra that are out at My Attic! There are 5 poses [with mirrors, so 10 in all] and a selfie stick for each pose. Adorable!

Nothing Comes Easily

Camp is over! It was an amazing, inspiring, emotional, unbelievable time and I’m sad that it’s over. After a week of being in pretty much nothing but shorts and camp shirts, coming home to dress up feels weird! And coming home to try to deal with both SL and Flickr’s issues while I blog… well. *laughs* But I have pretties to show!

The Epiphany started last week! This is a really cool gacha event. You play for your goodies like you would any regular gacha. But instead of being left with a ton of commons you might not be able to give away, you can trade these in for points that you can then turn in for fantastic exclusive items! Remember that your points DO roll over to the next round, so if you have leftovers, you won’t lose them. I’m wearing the exclusive Jour Reveur dress that is a collaboration between Faida and Fallen Gods Inc. This dress has a HUD so it can be made longer or shorter, or more revealing up top. It is not rigged for any mesh body, but does seem to work a little better with the Maitreya Lara body. I’m holding the exclusive Fan Clutch purse by Azoury. It has a static animation in it for holding. The Epiphany is open until August 4th.

Wayward Carnival opened up on the 15th, and that is where my awesome Tess platforms by Fri.day are from! It really is just the most incredible build, too, and there are lots of places for photo opportunities there. The carnival is only open until the 30th, so hop out there fast!

Bluebonnet Rentals!!

Hi guys!! I really don’t usually do this on this blog, but right now I have residential parcels available on Bluebonnet! If you’re looking for a place to call home and you need lots of prims, c’mere.

Both parcels are right next to each other, so if you wanted, you could have them combined.

Life on Bluebonnet is pretty great, I won’t lie. Because you do your own landscaping and use your own home, and the parcels are large, it becomes like your own little world. Pretty much all of my former renters have told me how much they have just adored living there and several are return renters. In fact, 3 of my renters have been living there since 2008!!

If you are interested in living on Bluebonnet, please IM me in world and I will get back to you just as soon as I possibly can. 🙂

* The 6256sqm parcel will be up for rent tomorrow, the 14th, if the current renter does not get back to me today. Considering they haven’t been online in over 2 weeks, I’m guessing that won’t happen. LOL

Camp Cute!

Camp is TOMORROW!! We’re all packed up and ready to go! Like I said yesterday, my posts will probably be pretty spotty over the next week, but I couldn’t leave without first showing this super cute new Truth hair!

Astra is kind of a mesh remake of an older hair if my Truth memories are good, which I think they are. But honestly, that doesn’t bother me a bit because I would LOVE some of the older hairs redone in mesh! [Cough cough..Janelle, Kitty, Lanie, Bree…] There are two options with this one, one with bangs like I’m wearing here and one with the bangs in more of a pompadour style. This hair is unrigged, so kiddos? You know you need it!
