Round The Front Way

Hola, loves! I absolutely adore 90s fashion. Well, the 90s in general, actually. Fashion, music, movies. Love it all! So I was super thrilled to hear that the theme for this round of Anthem is 90s Grunge!

I had the best time walking around Anthem yesterday! I don’t always have the time to really just wander an event and look at everything, but yesterday I must have spent almost an hour at Anthem, checking everything out, demoing lots of things. It was so fun! I think this is something more of us need to do. Yes, it’s amazing to run into an event on the first day and grab everything from your favorites and run out. Trust me, I absolutely do it, too! But once in a while, go to your favorite events a few days after it opens and just really enjoy the event. Try on things from stores that you normally don’t look at often, or even know. Shopping is fun, but it can always be MORE fun!

You Give Me Feelings That I Adore

Hello, my loves! So you want to know something kind of random about me? I’m a huge huge fan of kawaii style! I don’t tend to dress in it myself. I don’t feel like I quite have the look for it. But I absolutely adore the aesthetic!

A Sweeter Place

Hello, loves! I’m sure I can’t be the only person who just really really loves being in bed these days. In the fall and winter, all I really want to do is get super cozy and snuggle up in my bed with a billion pillows. Believe me, I am super down with a Hygge lifestyle!

But it’s not always easy to get the cozy life I crave sometimes in my offline life. Luckily I can do it easily here in SL! And with some of the sets from The Epiphany this round, it makes it even easier to make the sweet, safe place where I can wrap myself up and relax.

I’ll Stay Vulnerable

Hello, loves! Guess what? It’s time for another round of The Epiphany!! I know what you’re saying. “But didn’t we just have one?” Sure, but can there EVER be too many? Last month’s round was the holiday round. This is a normal round. Well, not that any of them are normal. All of them are spectacular!

The Epiphany starts on January 15th at 10pm SLT. You can either check out the main sim, or the mirror sim. And don’t forget about your Epiphany points! If you get duplicates of an item, or decide one item isn’t for you before you unpack it, you can turn it in for points! And those points can be used for event exclusive items! I’ve only gotten to see a few things so far, but oh my gosh. I think this round is going to be amazing!

But Hey, We Do It In Style

Hello, loves! No, your eyes do not deceive you. It’s two posts in a row! Also, I think I’m going to try something new out. I’ll be putting the credits for my items on my flickr photo. Sooo… if you’re only interested in credits, you can just hop to Flickr. If you want to see what I have to write about, come here!

So back in my early early Second Life days, wayyy back in 2006-2007 on another account, I used to love shiny clothes. Latex and leather, especially. But in those days, the people who could REALLY draw believable shiny textures… well, you could count them on one hand. A lot of highlights on clothes were just white stripes. It was a rough time, my darlings.

Now when I see how gorgeous leather is, especially on my new Blueberry leggings with the attached boots, I am just in shock. These look amazing even without advanced lighting on! But of course with it on, it’s something even more special. How lucky we are that we have the chance now to really look wonderful!

I Am Unwritten

Hello, loves! Happy new year! Are you ready for a new year of lovely things and shopping and photos and fun? Me too!

The Liaison Collaborative has opened for a brand new round and it’s a good one! It is designer’s choice this month, so there is much to see.

Also, if you are not part of the Anxiety group, you should get in! They have a big box FULL of backdrops and skyboxes for only 77L!! They are their older work but as you can see with this backdrop I’m using, they are still super awesome! I know for me, stores that create backdrops and photo sets always have my heart because they make creating blog photos soooo much easier! The group is 77L to join, but super super worth it!
