Holding On Will Hold You Back

Hey bunnies! I hope everyone’s week is going well. I don’t know about you guys, but I am so ready for fall! I went and bought a bunch of fall candles the other day and I’m trying not to light them quite yet because there is something just a bit wrong (to me, anyway) about sitting in my pumpkin-vanilla-cinnamon scented house and then walking outside to be hit in the face with summer heat. But summer is still holding on, so I guess I’ll just sit in my orange and ginger scented house and hope that this month passes by fast. (Supposedly this scent is good for energy. I don’t think it’s working, but who knows.)

But what actually passes by fast are shopping events, so you really need to head out there and get some shopping done!

Everything Feels Right Just Like It’s Meant To Be

Hi, bunnies! I’m up late because it was just a really good day and sometimes you just don’t want them to end! My family had a dance in the rainforest and just being together felt so good. We all just love love love music and laughing about the silliest things, so it was just perfect.

I’m definitely more of a boho girl, so the Boho Headchain, Boho Bracelet, and Boho Earrings I got from The Forge for The Epiphany just were everything I wanted to wear for tonight’s dance! I just LOVED that the headpiece was unrigged and modifiable because it meant I was able to make it work perfectly. Remember that this round of The Epiphany ends on August 4th, so hurry and shop!

I’ve been eyeing the Serena outfit from Les Petits Details for a while, but couldn’t figure out where I’d wear it. Tonight gave me the perfect opportunity!! The skirt goes all the way to the ground [and maybe a tad further if you’re short] so you can just forget about shoes if you want. Which, you know, I totally did. It’s separates, too, so if you want to wear the top with jeans or the skirt with a bikini top – hey, do your thing, jellybean!

It’s almost 3am for me, so I guess it’s time to put an end to my perfect day!

Under The Summer Sun

Happy July!! I always feel like July is the most summery of months, don’t you? Time to beat the heat!

Rebel Hope is at FaMESHed this month with awesome items for the beach! The South Beach bikini, Sarong, and Bay sandals are everything you need for frolicking at the beach or laying by the pool. I love that the sarong is made to fit over the bikini so well because even though the bikini bottom has good coverage, sometimes you need something over your butt! The sandals can be worn with or without the flip flop, too!

Have you heard about the Mix event yet? You get a free HUD that has allll kinds of stores on it and lets you know if the store has a new, exclusive, or sale priced item. Then you just click on the HUD and you’re off to shop! It’s a great way to hit up mainstores that you might not have been to in a while! I Won’t Turn Away

Hello, bunnies! I hope you guys are finding ways to beat the summer heat! It’s so hot where I am, I can’t even think about wearing jeans. Luckily, SL is always the right temperature for whatever I want to wear!

And When She Shines She Really Shows You All She Can

Hello, bunnies! After a couple of darker pics, it was fun to get colorful today! My Attic‘s theme this round is “Back To The Future,” and so I knew just where to go! Duran Duran [yes, the band!] still has sims in SL and there is a super bright club on one of them. Yeah, it’s older and definitely not mesh, but it’s still pretty fun to explore and there is a little thing where you can request Duran Duran songs. Kinda silly, but it reminds me of old SL and I like it. 🙂

Stellar is at My Attic with the Back To The 80s sets! I’m wearing the Animal print one in this picture, and there are other designs to choose from, too. The set is one complete piece [meaning the sweater and leggings are not separate pieces] and comes with a nail polish pack for Slink nails.

NanTra Poses is also out at My Attic with the Just Wanna Have Fun pose pack. There are 6 poses in the pack [plus mirrors] and they’re fashioned after 80s queen Cyndi Lauper and her song “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun.” They are definitely fun!

Cheers To The Freakin’ Weekend!

This is one of the best parts of being on vacation! Drinking fun icy drinks and hanging around outside! And now I have the perfect little outfit to do it in!

Stellar is participating in !nterlude this month and she’s brought us some cute cute stuff. The Divine dress lives up to its name and it’s such a great, classic spring dress. The matching Divine shoes are awesome, too! !nterlude starts on the 12th at 6pm SLT, so you don’t have much longer to wait!

Don’t You Talk To Unicorns, Too?

Don’t you sit around having nighttime conversations with your unicorn, too? No? Well, you’re missing out. Unicorns are pretty smart. Collabor88 is opening up with the theme of “OMG! UNICORNS!” Trust me when I say this made a LOT of people very happy!

Second Spaces brings us the Unicorn Chaise Set for Collabor88 and it’s super adorable! The set comes in either pink or teal and has the chaise, the framed prints, and a deco wall. I used the pink wall and the teal chaise and prints because you guys need both sets and I had to show that. 🙂
