Life Is A Masterpiece

Hello, beautiful ones! So I have been on a Sims 4 kick lately. It’s been almost the only game I have played (aside from playing a couple of others with my sister) in the past couple of weeks. If you follow me on Twitch, you know that it’s basically the only game I have streamed in a while. I’m sure I’ll go back to streaming other games at some point, but for now, Sims is really fun! BUT, I will say that it makes me miss my Second Life photos! And of course, all the beautiful clothing and hairs I have here in our world!

Speaking of beautiful clothing and hair, Uber has started and oh man, look at my outfit today! Truth has new hair textures, Blueberry named an outfit after me, and it’s a good day for shopping!

Nothing Wrong With Saying I Need Me Time

Hello, beautiful people! I hope everyone had a really wonderful weekend and that you were all able to do something lovely for yourselves. As an introvert, I need alone time like I need a heartbeat. Lately, I’ve been taking the weekends to just do my own thing. It’s been really nice. The term “introvert” wasn’t something I had heard of until I was an adult. I spent most of my life thinking I was just shy or just strange because being around people often tired me out. I am extremely shy, but that is not being an introvert. I just need “me time” so I can be around for people later. And I don’t see one single thing wrong with that.

Uber opened up today, and you simply HAVE to go! There are so many things that I know you will need for your life!

Remember Me Once In A While

Hello, beautiful people! We’re getting closer to the end of the month and the start of (what I consider) to be spring. I think the end of winter always makes me more introspective. How did I spend winter? What do I want for spring? And of course, I think about people a lot. The ones that are in my life now and the ones that no longer are. I guess if I had a put a word to my current feeling, it would be “bittersweet.” It’s not a bad thing. I think we need those days sometimes.

What we also need is to SHOP! Uber starts up on the 25th, Soiree is happening now, and The Arcade opens up on March 1st! Sooo many places to go do some retail therapy!

I’ll Rise Up

Hello, beautiful people! I have been playing around with lights lately after watching this amazing tutorial from Daeberethwen. I do use projectors and lights in a lot of my photos anyway, but I primarily use Beev’s tutorial on soft/diffused lighting. If you’re someone who is wanting to make your photos better and you’re unsure how, just go to YouTube! We have so many amazing photographers who have made tutorials on how they do certain things to make their photos. I know I have learned so much from watching them. The best part, I feel, is that no one says “You have to do it this way.” You can learn from one person and learn from another and mix it all together to make something that works for you. It’s art!

I Always Knew

It always amazes me how sweet people can be. As a lot of you know, things weren’t super easy for me over the past few months as far as Second Life was concerned. It’s definitely getting better now, but I haven’t talked a whole lot about everything. And I probably won’t ever discuss much of what I was going through at the time. But since coming back, I’ve had so much kindness from people. It’s really wonderful. I always hear about the dramatic and toxic people, but I’ve been lucky. Kindness is everywhere, if you only look.

It Isn’t In My Blood

Hello bunnies! Do you ever hear a song and it just speaks to you? That’s the way I’ve been feeling about “In My Blood” by Shawn Mendes lately.

It’s not a secret that I’ve been away from SL for a while. Not away away, but away enough. There have been a lot of things going on and a lot of changes and a lot of…stuff. Anxiety and depression can be a real bitch, even when truly, you have every reason to be happy. I will admit that for a moment, I considered just closing the door on Second Life. Sell the sim, walk away, hit delete. But I can’t do that. I won’t do that. I’m not where I want to be in there yet, but it will come. If I just keep trying, it’ll happen.

Sometimes I feel like giving up,
But I just can’t.
It isn’t in my blood.

Hey bunnies! Sorry about the hiatus there. I needed to take some time off to think and all that good stuff. Breaks are good, you know? I have a lot of friends who LOVE to go camping. They head off into the woods and…I don’t know. I’ve never actually been camping! But I think I would go glamping if given the opportunity. Of course, I’d probably require wifi and air conditioning. But Don’t Spill My Coffee

Hey bunnies! It’s a pretty well known fact that I’m NOT a morning person. I simply can’t get my day started without at least an hour of uninterrupted quiet time, my usual breakfast of 2 scrambled eggs with cheese and a slice of toast, and of course a very large cup of coffee! I also won’t go on the internet or turn on the tv for at least the first hour of my day, or until breakfast is over, whichever comes first. I feel like we all have our morning rituals to get our day started and there is nothing wrong with that! Of course, if someone needs a kiss… well, as long as my coffee stays hot and unspilled, I guess I won’t say no. ♥

The Very Thought Of You

Hello bunnies! It’s a new round of The Liaison Collaborative! The theme for this month is “Le Cinema,” and it’s just so wonderful! As I was setting up for this photo, I just felt so vintage, movie star glamorous!
