52 Weeks – Plum!

We’re into week 4 of Luna’s 52 weeks of color challenge and this week’s color is Plum! Well, plum translates into purple for me! I piled on the purples and while I might look like a walking grape, I think it’s a super cute little look.

And I just realized that’s the second photo in a row that has that floral rug from Little Boxes in it. It’s cute, right?

Oh! I wanted to thank the creators that have been helping us out with this challenge by providing us with items in the week’s color. This week Rayvn Hines from Mudhoney colored one of her new Prestige Medallion chairs in Plum, and I LOVE this chair. You all need it, it’s got some nice poses!

Next week’s color is Sepia. Brown? Tan? Well, we’ll see. 🙂

Oh hi! I hope everyone had a great weekend and holiday! There’s this little event going on called One Eleven. I know, right? Hardly anyone has talked about it. 😉 Check out my boots and hair from this event!

At One Eleven, the designers have created one or more limited edition items. There are, you guessed it, just 111 copies of the items, and once they’re gone, they’re gone. This does mean that most of them cost quite a bit more than people come to expect since they are brand new items and will not be sold again. But I guess that’s the price you pay for limited editions. My horchata de amor, Sophia Harlow, treated me for my rezday and I was able to get these amazing Paperboy boots from Surf Couture and the Seasons hair from Elikatira. I’m in love with both!!

There are a bunch of fab designers at One Eleven, so do yourself a favor and go check it out. Some items have already sold out, but there is still lots to buy!

It’s A Click Christmas!!

Yeah…I dropped the ball on the 30 days thing. Whoopsie! 🙂

My friend Flix Saiman of Click Photography Props & Poses has gotten me into the Christmas spirit with the latest of his amazing collection – Xmas Living!

Please excuse the glow on the photos. I’m still having that issue and it in no way is the fault of the set!!

The set is…well, amazing! There’s not much more I can say about it! All the furniture and pieces are so well done and the poses are awesome. There are poses for singles, couples, and even some for kids. I don’t have kids, but I dragged my boyfriend in to pose with me. [Yeah, like he suffered. ♥]

52 Weeks – Goldenrod!

I’m not really big on gold. I prefer silver and I think it takes a certain skin tone to wear gold or yellow and do it well. So when I saw that this week’s color for the 52 Weeks Color Challenge was Goldenrod, my first thought was, “I am so screwed.” Well, substitute “screwed” for a harder word.

This is what I managed to come up with. It’s not all goldenrod, but I think an entire goldenrod outfit would make me look like a mustard drenched hot dog, and who wants that? 😉 Next week’s color is Plum. I think that will be a little easier.

30 Days – Day 20

Some days, I just feel the need to be ladylike and almost vintage like. Like…Lucy Ricardo or Donna Reed. I’m just standing around, waiting on my man!

This dress from new-to-me store Oyakin is just too precious for words! This is called Mizutama-onp and it reminds me of dresses my grandma wore back in the photos I saw of her in the late 40s-early 50s.

What goes better with this kind of vintage dress than these cute Freynii pumps from Ingenue, and the Vintage 50’s Pearl & Diamond necklace and earrings from Dark Mouse? Almost nothing!

I think I need to make a cocktail. You know my man likes it when I have one waiting for him when he comes home. 😉

30 Days – Day 18

I’m enjoying the last few days of autumn on my island. The weather forecast predicts snow next week, and although I’m ready for it, I will miss the pretty green.

At least I have great new Truth hair to see me through!

Isn’t this hair just delish? This is Francesca 2 and brand new today. If my hair was this thick and curly in my physical world, I would probably spend all day rolling around with it. I’m so in love with it, I might never take it off. So if my next 5 posts have this hair…well, I did warn you. ♥

Please excuse my blurry stars. For some reason, when I take picture of things with glow in them, it comes out crazy like that. If anyone has any ideas how to fix that, please let me know.
