Hello loves! How is everyone holding up? I know that things are still so crazy out there, so it’s my sincere hope that all of you are staying safe and healthy, and trying to do nice things for yourselves to keep your spirits up.
One thing that I truly love in this world are sunflowers! There is just something so lovely and cheerful about them. Don’t we all need a little cheer right now? I definitely think so!
Hello, beautiful ones! I can’t believe we’re almost to the middle of the month! The start of the year seemed so slow to me, but now the days are just flying by.
The Liaison Collaborative and Collabor88 are having some pretty amazing rounds this month, so be sure you get out there and do some shopping!
Hello, beautiful ones! I hope all of you are enjoying the start of your summer! (Or winter, if you’re in one of those down under places.) It’s been a hot one so far here!
If you follow me on Twitch, you know that I’m really huge into self care these days. We talk about this often on my stream! I’ve been taking care of me lately. Are you taking care of you? You should. You’re absolutely worth it. ♥
Hello, beautiful people! Three days and three blog posts? Who the heck do I think I am? *laughs* But I am just so thrilled with all the winter goodies this year! I’m especially thrilled that The Epiphany‘s holiday round starts tonight at 10pm!! You all are going to absolutely love it. I know I certainly do!
On Monday morning I did a live stream in SL for the first time in quite a while. I had forgotten how much I missed just chatting with people who are kind enough to come and hear me ramble about various things. It’s different than what I do on my Twitch channel. There, I play games and chat about what I’m doing in that moment. Somehow, live streaming on YouTube is different, and I can talk about any number of things. If you missed it, then I’m sorry, because I deleted the video immediately afterwards. Mostly because I did a playlist of current pop songs in the background and I didn’t need 37 copyright notices, but also because I wanted to chat about some personal things just to get them out there.
Someone in my chat mentioned that SL breaks are a good thing, because it means you can come back later and remember why you love this place. You can start again. It reminds me of a quote I really enjoy – “At any given moment, you have the power to say ‘This is not how my story will end.'”
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips
Drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide open
Today is where your book begins
Hello bunnies, I hope you all are doing well! Do you ever feel like you seriously don’t know which way the wind is blowing? It just kind of feels like it’s blowing from everywhere and you aren’t quite sure where to turn your head. I’ve felt like that a little bit lately. But it’s all good. It just means I have a lot of directions that I could take. And one of those directions is taking me shopping!
Hey bunnies! I think about traveling a lot. I’m not in a place in my life right now where traveling too far away or for more than a day or two is really an option, but I certainly do think about it. When I was younger, I used to think about just leaving. Get in the car, drive until I found some little town, work in a diner, buy a tiny house. Considering my insane shopping habit and my weekly whine about having to wash my clothes at the laundromat because our apartment didn’t have a washer… well, I’m pretty sure had I run away, I would have come back the first time I couldn’t find a decent nail salon. (This was the early 2000s. My nails were always done.)
Being more in touch with my boho side now, I think I would be better suited for that tiny town life. But then again, maybe not. I don’t think there would be a very good internet connection out there.
Hey bunnies! So I’ll admit, I didn’t quite get the whole planner craze when it started happening. It seemed more like a big arts and crafts project than an actual thing to help. Because I’d had a planner before, back in the early 2000s. And I just wrote things down like appointments and parties and dates. But the planners that people have now… I didn’t get it. Some of them are so intricate, with quotes, stickers, bookmarks, all kinds of things! But I’ll admit to having horrible time management skills, and after talking to some planner people, I bought one at the beginning of the year. And I quite like it! The funniest part to me was that as I was writing in it, my mind immediately said “You know what this needs? Stickers.” So I guess I’m one of those people now, too! Although, it’s on a very tiny scale and I still don’t think I’m planner-ing correctly. Maybe one day!
Hey bunnies! I hope you all are enjoying your weekend! Collabor88 opened up last night and oh gosh. Is it a good one! I know people always say “Sex sells” in Second Life, and generally lingerie and super skimpy things are the norm, but sometimes, you really just need something cozy and warm and comfortable to wear, and Collabor88 is full of that this month! ♥
Hey bunnies! If you haven’t been to Rewind yet, you need to GO. Quick quick!
Back in the 90s, I was absolutely into slip dresses with baby tees underneath! So I was super thrilled with the Iha dress from Vinyl for Rewind! The only thing that would have made this dress more “Me in high school” would be if the shirt underneath had a small smiley face or daisy patch!
Decoy‘s Jelly Heels are such a perfect match for this dress, too! And of course, no 90s outfit is complete without a choker, like the Mood Stone Velvet and Flower Lace chokers from Izzie’s!
Rewind closes on the 28th, so be sure you head out there this weekend!
