Hello, loves! Have you ever been to a little outdoor country store? When I was younger, my parents and I traveled quite often to see my grandma and we would hit up the most precious little stores. Some of them were regular looking stores, some were in what looked like a person’s house, and some were just little dinky things under tents. It was always so much fun, though! When I was putting my photo together today, that’s what I thought of. Just those little old country stores that barely sold anything really necessary, but were always just so fun to look around.

A Sweeter Place

Hello, loves! I’m sure I can’t be the only person who just really really loves being in bed these days. In the fall and winter, all I really want to do is get super cozy and snuggle up in my bed with a billion pillows. Believe me, I am super down with a Hygge lifestyle!

But it’s not always easy to get the cozy life I crave sometimes in my offline life. Luckily I can do it easily here in SL! And with some of the sets from The Epiphany this round, it makes it even easier to make the sweet, safe place where I can wrap myself up and relax.

We Don’t Make Mistakes, Just Happy Little Accidents

In my offline life, I’m not much of an artist. I cannot draw and the only painting I do is if I go to one of those “drink & paint” classes. But I do admire those who can pick up a brush or a pencil and just make something out of basically nothing. I mean, I can make something out of nothing, too, but it’s usually just anxiety. *laughs* In SL, I feel like we are living in art all of the time. We wear it, we sit on it, we play with it. It’s wonderful.

Uber is still going strong, so be sure to go so you can pick up all the beautiful things to make your own works of art.

I Can Give You What You Need

So I’ll admit it. I’m not great at the home and garden blogging. I love to decorate, but I definitely can’t do it as well as some bloggers do! I think it’s because I like a more minimal style and that doesn’t always translate well to photos. I like a room that you can walk around in, that you can invite people to come hang out in and they won’t worry about kicking the wrong thing. I love living rooms where it’s spacious enough to know that if suddenly I need to get up and go to the bedroom, it won’t take any time at all.

Hello magical bunnies! You know, I always thought that I wouldn’t have been very happy with my room at Hogwarts. It just seemed very dark, and what if you weren’t a huge fan of your house colors? How much personalization could you really do in your room? I think I’d almost rather go to Beauxbatons Academy. At least their uniforms are cuter.

Hello bunnies! When I was a little girl, I thought that basically everything had some kind of feelings. Blame it on all those kid shows and Disney movies I watched! I mean, if a little toaster could be brave, why couldn’t my favorite swing be happy? Even though I’ve grown up (mostly), I still think that there are a couple of things that wait for you to return. One is your favorite book. Or books. They hold the stories you love and it’s your imagination that makes them alive again. And the other is your bed. You leave it every day, but it’s always right there waiting for you to return!

Am I weird? Probably!

Deco(c)rate For May! Unboxing!

Hello bunnies! It’s an unboxing day!! Today I’m unboxing Deco(c)rate for May, and it was a really good box! I have to admit, I wasn’t super interested when I heard that the theme for this month was Modern Minimalism because that’s just not my jam when it comes to decorating. But the designers really did well and I found so many pieces that I just loved!
