You Need To Have Control

Hey bunnies! I’m back at it again with the videos! *laughs* Today I’m just kind of talking a bit about how I use the AnyPose in SL to make couples poses. And I’m rambling. That’s gonna be my thing, I guess. But I did the pose and then I took a picture, so I knocked out two birds with one stone today! Well…two stones, I guess. But… Oh whatever, here’s the video and picture!

I am just loving all the things from Whimsical! My outfit today comes from the Hell Bound set by Storybook. This tiny dress is only fit for Maitreya bodies, so keep that in mind when you play for it. I am also wearing wings that you can get with the set, but not the tail or horns. I thought that the Arwen hair and skull by Truth that is at The Secret Affair went with this outfit and the feel of my photo very well, so I just had to wear it.

Happy Saturday, bunnies! Normally I don’t blog on the weekends, but I have a feeling my posts are going to be a bit spotty over the next couple of weeks. Or not. Hey, you never know. *laughs*

Have you been to the Pose Fair yet?? It ends on the 26th, so you still have a week to shop, but you really do need to go! I’m posing on top of the Garden Stones by Exposeur that you can get at the Pose Fair. There are 10 poses [plus mirrors, so 20 in all] in the stones.

A Brand New Day

Happy Saturday, bunnies! There are just some mornings where you get up and you just feel fresh and new and ready to take on the world! Or as my daughter, Rory, would say, “I feel sunny today!”

The Arcade is coming! RC Cluster has a great fun set of randomness for you all this coming round, including the Paint Anything set! I thought this was just so cute! By holding the paint can and the brush, you get an animation that has you just painting away at whatever you want. Plus, there is a HUD to change the color of the paint! Cute cute cute!

Neve is stepping up into spring and today I’m wearing the new Halftime top in eyelet. I am a sucker for eyelet lace! There is a tube top underneath and you can change the color of both the tube top and the tank top. Love!

And if you haven’t stopped by Shiny Shabby yet, you should do that! At the very least, you need to stop by to pick up Fri.day‘s new Sarah.Jane shoes! There are some mesh knee socks that go along with these shoes, but I’m not wearing them since I’m in jeans today.

A Dancer Has To Dance The Part

Hello bunnies! This might be my last post until after Christmas, so let me just take the time to say HAPPY HOLIDAYS to all of you!! I hope your holiday weekend is just as wonderful as can possibly be. And hey, if you don’t really celebrate anything? That’s okay! Just have a great weekend! 🙂

I got all kinds of excited when I saw the Dead Dollz The Rehearsal Collection at Shiny Shabby!! I have always loved the ballet, so this set is a dream come true for me. It’s a gacha, and I did have some help completing my look. Thanks, Vanity!! The outfit [leotard, sweater, skirt, and rare legwarmers and pointe shoes combo] is ONLY for the Maitreya Lara body. If you don’t have the Lara body, you’re basically out of luck with this. Ask Santa to bring you one if you don’t have it yet! 🙂 There are also free applier tights at the event. I’m not wearing them in this pic because I forgot.

She Changed Her Tune, It’s All Haggard and Jones

Howdy, bunnies! So it should come to no surprise to anyone that I love country music. I mean, I basically love all music, but living where I live, country music is pretty huge. I do go through phases of not listening to it much at all but then it pulls me right back on in. I guess you never really can change who you are deep inside, huh?

Fri.day is out at Shiny Shabby with the Rosie boots! I just adore these! Don’t get me wrong, I like a nice stiletto heeled boot, but a lower heeled, easy to walk in boot will forever catch my attention. These boots are not rigged, so you can edit them, but they were fit on the Maitreya Lara body. So if you have that body, they’ll fit out of the box [unless you’re all weird with your shape], but others might need to adjust a little.

Let’s Have Us A Sunday Drive

Hello, bunnies! When I was little, Sunday afternoons almost always meant a drive into the country. My dad loved to just get my mom and me into the car and we’d drive out somewhere for a while, usually until we got to a truck stop they liked so we could have lunch before driving home. It was always lovely. Of course these days I’m the one behind the wheel and there’s not as much country, but sometimes we still take off outside the city limits, even if it’s just for a moment.

Shiny Shabby opens up at noon today and let me tell you, I was just itching to get my hands on the Pearl Cashmere Ensemble by Valentina E! The sweater and the pearl studded skirt are just darling! This is definitely an outfit that is perfect for fall.

We’ll Lose The Lights And Harmony

Happy weekend, bunnies! I have to admit, I didn’t really intend on blogging today. But when I decorate our home, often I play around up on my platform just to see what looks like it would work, and I put together such a cute fall corner today, I couldn’t help but blog it!

Thinking about homes and all, I have a request from you guys. I don’t normally do this sort of thing in this blog, but I need to this time. My great-niece, Maelie, had her home catch fire a couple of nights ago. Luckily, she and her family made it out safely, which is the most important thing. But pretty much everything they owned was damaged or lost. There is a GoFundMe page set up to help alleviate some of the costs of replacing essentials and the cost of just having somewhere to stay while they wait for their home to be safe enough to move back into. Show Em What You’re Worth!

Hello, bunnies! Do you think of yourself as being very fit? I don’t really think I am normally given that I’d rather sit than go for a run, but I got a Fitbit for my birthday and was invited to a challenge and well… given my highly competitive nature, I was running like crazy at 11:59pm to get every last step in that I could. I guess I’m more fit than I thought! Uber this month is all about being athletic, so get your fitness on!

Truth is at Uber with the super cute Olympia hair! This hair comes with a visor [I love hair with accessories!] but there is also one with an alpha hairline. Kinda like having a hairbase, but it’s actually on the hair. I love it and it worked with my head really well, but you may need to adjust your forehead a bit to get it to work.

Yet Another Trip Around The Sun

So it’s my birthday today! Woo! I totally believe your birthday lasts as long as people are celebrating it, so for me, my birthday goes until Tuesday since that’s when I’ll go out with my best friend. But I also believe in resting on your birthday because hey, it’s a lot of work to make a full circle around the sun. So today I’ve just put together a casual little look.

Paper Arrow Co. is in Fifty Linden Friday today with the Ringer.Tee. I loveee casual tees like this! You guys know me. I’m all about the comfort. Plus, I thought the red on the shirt matched up with the red in my belt on my new Cassie skirt by Apple May Designs that is at Shiny Shabby right now. I’m all about cute little jean skirts, too!
