Hey bunnies, happy Monday! You know, one of my goals is to have a beautiful dining room one day in my offline world. The dining area in my house is actually where I have my computer! Who knows. Maybe one day I will put my foot down and get all the furniture in here moved around I’ll finally get the dining room I really want. But until that day comes… there’s always Second Life!
Hey bunnies! Video post today! Today I’m unboxing the second box in the Shadow Box series by DeathRowDesigns! I am so obsessed with it! If you haven’t heard of Shadow Box, it is a
monthly subscription box and it is a 6 month series There are 12 products in the box, a “light” item and its “dark” counterpart. At the end of the series, if you have gotten all of the boxes, you will get two buildings, a dark and a light one. This box was SO ridiculously fun to open! In fact, I might have laughed and squealed just a little bit too much. So professional, right?
The box is 1800L if you pre-order, and 2800L if you buy it after it has come out. They come out on the first of the month, and you’ll be able to pre-order 3 weeks ahead of time, either through their in-world store or on the marketplace. You can also gift boxes to people, which makes it even better to me.
Watch the video, and be sure to check out the DRD Shadow Box website if you have any additional questions!
Hiya bunnies! So I’m not sure if a lot of you who have been reading my blog for a while would remember this, but Aldwyn first appeared in my blog more than a year before we got together. It’s not a great photo, and we’re both… well, look, man. It was 2009. It was a different time. The world was different. It’s not our fault. We didn’t know any better!
But in that photo, we were using a laundry set. And now I have a new laundry set! So, time for a new laundry photo!
Second Spaces has the Laundry Day set for The Arcade! And it’s fabulous! There are 16 items to collect, 14 commons and 2 rares. [The washer/dryer and the sink are rares. And the washer/dryer do not have the clothing textures on the insides. I added those.] Each item is only 1 land impact, so the whole set is 16 LI! Craziness! In the old laundry set Aldwyn and I used in 2009, it was 109 prims for a small set. Mesh is awesome, you know?
Hey bunnies! No fashion today – because it’s Relay For Life weekend!! It would be great if you all could stop by our team’s campsite [Team Purple Tears!] and donate! You get to help out a great cause, meet lots of cute little kids, and have some fun! We’ll be walking soon, but you’re welcome by any time! There are also donation items to purchase! Go Relay!!
The Pulse Fundraiser opens today, June 28th, at 11am SLT. All donations will go directly to the Pulse Victims’ Fund via Equality Florida, the state’s lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) civil rights organization.
How the funds will be spent by Equality Florida: “Every penny raised will be distributed directly to the victims and their families. We are working with a team of attorneys and experts, including the National Center for Victims of Crime, which deployed funds in both Chattanooga and Aurora, to ensure funds are distributed correctly.”
I made a video just talking a bit about it and showing a few things that you could get there at the fundraiser. It’s for a good cause, so get to shopping!
Hello bunnies! It’s time for another New To Me Thursday, where every Thursday I find a store in Second Life that I’m not familiar with and hopefully find a new fave! This week I am checking out the store Goose!
Hey bunnies! Luxe Box came out last night and I did a late night unboxing video! It is longer than my other videos, so if you don’t want to sit for 30 minutes watching it and listening to me ramble, head to the actual page for the video and in the comments, I’ve listed skips so you can skip ahead to individual items. If you got Luxe Box this month, let me know how you liked it! ♥
Happy Friday, bunnies! Do you love to travel? Me too! I don’t get a chance to do it as much as I’d like in RL, but in SL, I get the chance to travel whenever I want! My family and I usually do a couple of big vacations a year, and we have one coming up at the end of the month! So today I made a lovely little “I love to travel!” corner in the house using items from some of the events that are happening right now.
Hiya, bunnies! When I first started out working non-retail jobs, like a lot of people, I worked a variety of office temp jobs. Most of them weren’t awful, but some of them were so bad, I’d have done almost anything to have the assignments end early. [I was in my early 20s, what can I say?] Sometimes this included acting VERY dumb in situations where really, I shouldn’t have been involved in the first place. Press any key? I see ESK…Catarl…PigUp…
The Liaison Collaborative is going strong and that is where I got this darling outfit from today! The Buttoned Up Long Sleeve shirt and Belted Denim skirt from NYU are just adorable! These remind me of the outfits I’d wear to work when I was trying to look cute. It’s a very classic look, so I look just as cute now as I did then!
Collabor88‘s theme this month is Espionage! Naturally, any good villain has an evil lair and now you can, too, with the Evil Lair Starter Kit from Second Spaces. Evil computers, a supreme console station, and more! You NEED it in your life!!
