If I Fall For You, I’ll Never Be The Same

I’ll admit, my favorite new show is Naked and Afraid. They stick these 2 people out in the middle of the jungle or the swamp or just some remote place, buck naked, and tell them to survive for 3 weeks. Sometimes they’ll make some clothes out of leaves and stuff, but I feel like if there would ever be a time to wear animal print, it would be then. I’m not always a huge fan of animal print myself, but between being naked and wearing animal print, the print would win every time.

Emery is out at FaMESHed with the Andy Leopard Jeans and the Oslo Basic Top. Like I said, I’m not a big fan of animal print, but the print on the jeans is just subtle enough for me. Both the jeans and the tops come in several colors.

My Slink Obsession starts tomorrow and I’m thrilled to see Ingenue is part of it! The Nanette wedges are simply perfect! If you are still not on board with the Slink feet and hands at the very least, maybe My Slink Obsession will change your mind!

Let’s Focus On The Boots!

Do you ever get dressed and you think, “Yay! I’m cute!” Then you take your pic and oh…maybe not so much? That’s totally me today. But let’s not focus on anything except these awesome boots, okay??

My friend Wilma stopped over at our place last night and immediately my eye was drawn to her feet. She was wearing the Cowboy Boots with the floral design from COCO. I cannot begin to tell you all how my little Texas girl heart just sang with excitement! So much so that even though I was in the middle of hanging out with my family, I took off and went to buy them. They come with both the sock and no sock option and there are several pretty colors. In fact, I’m headed out now to get them in aqua!

So Let Me Be A Sparkle One Night

FaMESHed and The Arcade are still going strong!

IKON has released mesh eyes for FaMESHed! I’m wearing the Spectral eyes in blue. They’re easy to adjust to fit really any eye holes [I guess you’d call them eye holes??] and you get the sizes like you get with the regular IKON eyes. I am not SURE if you can wear two different colors, but I don’t see why you wouldn’t be able to.

I’ve been wearing the Daisy hair by D!va for The Arcade probably since the moment I got my hands on it! It’s all messy and lovely and I think the stars on the headband are perfect for the holiday season. Of course, you CAN turn the stars off…but why would you want to?

Falling on my head like a memory.

So I decided to take a break from decorating our house to do a little shopping. I got dressed up for the first time in days, put on my hat, and went out. And what happened? IT STARTED TO RAIN.

At least I look good, even when wet.

Um…that’s not meant to sound dirty, I promise.

Ingenue has some new Odette heels for you guys! They are add-on shoes for the SLink medium feet. If you’re STILL holding out on buying feet, then I don’t even know what to tell you. Sorry that you’re missing out on awesome shoes! I love these because they’re alllllmost an ankle boot, but not quite, so that makes them interesting and versatile.

I need to go dry off now, and you guys need to head out shopping. Hope it doesn’t rain on you!

It Did Start Out That Way

Okay, okay. I know the theme is Flowers In MY Attic but all I can think about is Flowers In THE Attic. That was my first “grown up” series of books that I ever read and the series that I do still read through usually every year or so. So as lovely as the items are for this round, all I think about is ballet and picnic baskets and starving and arsenic. Sorry!

But um, let’s get to some shopping. 🙂

Stellar has some really awesome tights for My Attic. The In Bloom tights are floral but not SO floral that it’s too much. They also come with the SLink applier for the feet, which is definitely a must-have in my book these days. Lexi has also made matching In Bloom nails and I am just in love with the plum color! It’s so perfect for the autumn season!

Also at My Attic, Pretense has the A Flower For You In My Attic poses. There is a 2 person pose so you can give a friend a flower, and then some single poses for you to pose with your flower. They’re very cute!

I’ll Save Myself

The Poser Pavilion [SLurl to come later] starts tomorrow, August 25th! The theme is Area 51, matching with this month’s The Garden theme. It’s looking to be a good one!!

Pretense has this awesome Area 51 pose box for the Pavilion this round, and it’s really cool! Gidge and Cajsa collaborated on this item so what you get are awesome poses in an awesome projector box. The box comes in a few colors, and when you turn on your shadows and local lights, the box really pops to life!

Btw, did you know that Zaara is having a sale?? Yes ma’am, a 50% off sale! As soon as I heard, I ran on down there and picked up the Ashima blouse because I’ve had my eye on it for a while! The Atiriya jewelry I already had, because duh, it’s gorgeous.

Gave Up On The Riddle

Have you gone to the Maitreya sale yet?? I will totally admit, I wasn’t going to because for some reason in my brain, I only was remembering the shoes. I thought “Pfft. I have most of those, and I’m really too lazy to tint stuff myself these days anyway.” But then I remembered…

Oh right. THE CLOTHES.

The Mignon Evening dress is just so lovely and to be honest, I don’t know why I haven’t bought it before! But I’ll tell you what. Getting it for half price was CERTAINLY nice! 🙂 The Maitreya sale lasts for 2 weeks, so scoot on over and shop!

If you haven’t been to FaMESHed yet, you need to go because look at how gorgeous the Eva shoes from Gos Boutique are! They’re just so darn classy! And you really can’t go wrong with the OneTime skin matching HUD. Easy tinting and gorgeous shoes? Yes, ma’am!
