As The Shoppers Rush Home With Their Treasures

Hello, beautiful people! Have you started your Christmas shopping yet? I will start mine…oh, probably the week before Christmas. I know, there are probably some of you out there screaming in horror at that. Sorry! I’m not sure why I do this. I just do.

But in SL, where gift giving is different, sometimes we rely on gacha items because they’re transferable. And luckily for us, The Epiphany is having a special holiday round! It opens up on November 29th at 10pm SLT and runs until December 27th. Trust me. you will LOVE IT!

And She Was

Hello bunnies! So somewhere in my parents’ house, there is a photo of my older sister taken some time in the early 80s. I’m not sure who took it. But she’s standing like this, outside of the high school, lost in thought. I thought she was probably cutting class, but she never said if that was what she was doing. I always loved all the photos from that time. It seems like being a high schooler in the 1980s was so much cooler than any other time. Or maybe that was just my interpretation of it because I was so young and my sisters, who were a lot older than me, just seemed so cool and I wanted to be like that.

Of course, I still can’t manage it. In my sister’s photo, she was smoking, not chewing bubble gum.

You May Say I’m A Dreamer

Hello, bunnies! Yes, I know what some people are going to say. “Is that hair RED?!” And yes, yes it is. Now deep down in my soul, I’m a blonde in Second Life. And when we move into springtime, I’m sure the blonde hair will return. But I just find it so satisfying to play with brunettes and reds in the fall and winter! Although I’m not sure I’ve been a redhead in this blog in years, actually. Are you always a certain color, or do you have “seasons” for your hair color the way I do? All I know is that I’m loving my red today! ♥

Life Is Good Today

Hey bunnies! I am getting so excited for summer already! I know, I know. There’s still like a whole month to go, and I’ll be crying about the heat by mid-June, but I’m still excited!

Exile‘s new Breakeven hair has barely been off my head since it came out! The wavy fall of hair over the shoulder is just so gorgeous.

Decisions Are The Worst

Hello bunnies! So I’ll admit it. I’m very much an indecisive person. Well…when it comes to ice cream. I mean, how do you choose? There are so many flavors and so many toppings and even just figuring out cone or cup can be challenging! Of course, I guess my body made the ultimate decision for me since I can’t really have dairy. Dammit.

So Paper Arrow Co. has been one of my favorite stores for a while now. I was thrilled to see them in both The Epiphany and in Bloom! Today I’m wearing the Spring Romper from The Epiphany. This romper shows off quite a bit of cleavage and side boob, so if you’re not into showing that much skin, just keep that in mind! I paired it up with the Floral Bootie that is at Bloom. I LOVE these shoes! The ones I’m wearing matches my romper just perfectly!

OMG Shoebox!

Hey bunnies! There is a brand new SHOES event called Shoebox that opens today [at 8pm SLT, actually!] and I just had to tell you all about it! I was invited to come video, too! And..of course I had to shop. Woo! I hope you guys love it!

Oh! You should know that these shoes, the High Heeled Loafers from Glam Affair, are not rigged for any foot. So you will have to move them into place but as you can see, they worked just fine for my Maitreya medium feet!

Everything’s Better With Two People

Hiya bunnies! So I’m not sure if a lot of you who have been reading my blog for a while would remember this, but Aldwyn first appeared in my blog more than a year before we got together. It’s not a great photo, and we’re both… well, look, man. It was 2009. It was a different time. The world was different. It’s not our fault. We didn’t know any better!

*ahem*

But in that photo, we were using a laundry set. And now I have a new laundry set! So, time for a new laundry photo!

Second Spaces has the Laundry Day set for The Arcade! And it’s fabulous! There are 16 items to collect, 14 commons and 2 rares. [The washer/dryer and the sink are rares. And the washer/dryer do not have the clothing textures on the insides. I added those.] Each item is only 1 land impact, so the whole set is 16 LI! Craziness! In the old laundry set Aldwyn and I used in 2009, it was 109 prims for a small set. Mesh is awesome, you know?
