A Blooming Rose

Fashion For Life starts today at noon!! I’ve been in pink girly heaven with this gown from My Precious by Agnes Finney called Forever Yours.

Style - A Blooming Rose

I don’t wear a lot of gowns, but THIS one…WOW! So very impressed! It’s like walking springtime, and being this lovely shade of pink, you know I’m very happy to float around in it.

I’m not sure which sim My Precious is on for FFL [I know, bad blogger!] but I’ll update this when I get the SLurl. But truly, you should walk around FFL anyway because there’s some wonderful stuff out there!

In The Still Of The Night

There’s something about the crisp autumn nights that make you think anything is possible. Like maybe you’ll be standing outside, all dressed up, and Prince Charming will come sweep you off your feet! And if you’re in this gown by Kouse’s Sanctum, why wouldn’t he do just that?

Style - In The Still Of The Night

The new Juniper gowns are just oh so beautiful! The trim, the train, the ruffles – what’s not to love? The gowns come in several colors, and there are options for gold or silver trim. I’m wearing the gold trim because autumn is just made for gold!

Every dress that Kouse makes, I swear it’s my new favorite, so I suggest you head on Kouse’s Sanctum and find your new favorite today!

Try A Little Tenderness

The title of this post doesn’t really have anything to do with my outfit, but when I’m doing photos for my blog, I’m often listening to old songs. There’s some useless trivia for you! Now let’s get to the dress.

Style - Try a little tenderness

Kouse Singh recently got married, but she’s back and designing away!  [Have I mentioned she’s doing my wedding dress for me?  Squee!!]  The new Gabrielle gowns from Kouse’s Sanctum are just utterly gorgeous.  If you do any kind of medieval/renaissance/fantasy stuff in SL, you simply must get this gown.  Hell, get it anyway and go frolick in meadows or go dancing so you can see it twirling around.  I’m wearing it in Forest, and there are several colors available. Pretty pretty pretty!

At Last

I will admit, now that most of what I had to do this month is over, I’m getting wedding fever! And you know who else is getting wedding fever? Kouse Singh of Kouse’s Sanctum! She has a good reason, though. She’s getting married on July 16th!! YAY!! To celebrate this, she has a big big sale in the bridal department of her shop!

Style - At Last

Kouse really does amazing work, and even if you’re not getting married NOW, you should still go pick up some wedding gowns since they’re only $75L! Yes, that’s right! I’m wearing the Lynet gown in this photo, and it’s just so so pretty!! White is one of my favorite clothing colors to wear but it’s not always easy to find good crisp white in SL. Kouse is amazing with it, though!

So please join me in saying a huge CONGRATULATIONS to Kouse on her upcoming marriage! And then YOU go to Kouse’s Sanctum and shop!

She’s A Doll

I’m a huge fan of the ballet. Just adore it! Coppélia is a nice ballet about a life sized doll. When I put on the new Coppelia gown from Evie’s Closet – well, I felt just like a doll come to life!

Style - She's a Doll - cape

This photo shows the lovely Coppelia Cape that goes with the gown. It reminds me of fairy tale girls who wear a cape to run through the forest to either get away from something, or to run to save someone. Honestly, I wish capes would come back into mainstream fashion because I think there’s something just so elegant about them.

But the rest of the dress…it’s a marvel.

Style - She's a Doll - full length

It’s dramatic and flowy and just oh so gorgeous. The back is low cut and has corset ribbons across your bare back. I’m wearing Coppelia in Sea Note, a luscious and rich blue, and it also comes in 5 other wonderful colors. You NEED this gown. It’s so amazing, I didn’t even need jewelry with it.

I’m going to go pretend to be in a fairy tale. You should get yourself to Evie’s Closet to buy this gown today!! Right now! Go!

Get me to the chapel on time!

I just adore weddings. Around 7 or 8 years ago, I was a bridesmaid 3 times in just slightly over a year in my physical world, and I never never got tired of discussing weddings! Which, you know, is probably a good thing since I was in so many! I’ve never had the opportunity to be a bride in either life, but with this new gorgeous wedding dress from Nymphetamine, I can at least pretend!

The Vivy wedding gown is just elegant and stunning. It’s also not very frilly, which I know so many brides appreciate.

Review - Nymphetamine - Vivy, front

Review - Nymphetamine - Vivy, back

The gown is strapless, with a simple chest ruffle. There is a plain sash and then the lovely ballgown style skirt. The gown also comes with the option of wearing the veil or just flowers in your hair. I modded this veil easily to go with my hairstyle. Also, Paeoti told me this, but she uses the Emerald viewer with the extra attachment points for these items. So if you do not, you will need to manually attach the veil or flowers to an open spot on your head.

There is something that’s just a little better than the wedding – The honeymoon! And won’t your partner just LOVE seeing you out of your beautiful gown and into this oh-so-pretty babydoll lingerie?

Review - Nymphetamine - Vivy babydoll

You can also take off the babydoll part and just wear the teddy underneath. You guys know I do so love options!

The Vivy wedding gown is $1000L for the set of the gown & the lingerie, including the veil and hair flower. You can also purchase the gown, veil & flower for $850L, or the lingerie, veil & flower for $350L. The dress and lingerie also comes in 9 other colors, minus the veil & flower, for $750L each. They are available now at the Nymphetamine mainstore, so get out there and shop!

I’m the Valentine Princess!

I’m full of the Valentine spirit this week! And how could I not be, when designers are coming out with the girly girl goods? 🙂

Speaking of girly girl, Musashi-Do designer Shiryu Musashi has two special Valentine editions of his gorgeous Brocade Princess gowns coming out Monday, February 10th. Pink AND purple? I’m in love!

Review - Musashi-Do - Valentine Editions

As most people know, I’m a huge fan of the original Brocade Princess gowns, and having them in these gorgeous girly colors just makes my day! Each gown comes with both the patterned and solid sash, and as all Musashi-Do items are, the gowns are handdrawn.

The Valentine edition gowns will be available at the discounted price of $350L, and are transferable, so you can surprise the special princess in your life with a lovely lovely gift.

You can pick up the Valentine Pink at the Musashi-Do mainstore, and the Valentine Purple at the satellite shop at Franks Place! Hey, that’s pretty nifty – buy a dress and then go dance! Remember, the gowns are only going to be available until the 14th, and then never offered again, so be sure you get them!

What’s in Evie’s Closet today?

Do you love Evie’s Closet? Me too! You need to RUN down there today to get these great dresses because… They’re only $50L each!! But it’s today only!

The Isabella dresses are just utterly gorgeous, as all of Evie’s works are. There are 2 available, the Isabella Formal and the Isabella Ballet. Both come with wings, for all you pretty little faeries out there!

How could you possibly say no to these? The Formal has 2 skirts, and I found that the overskirt actually looks fabulous on its own using the glitch pants from the Ballet outfit. The Ballet outfit also comes with stockings and those adorable little slippers! And both outfits come with the delicate little arm bands, too. Oh, both of these are just gorgeous all the way around.

Head over to Evie’s Closet now now now!!

I AM a princess, all girls are!

It’s really rare that I’ll ever use a vendor photo in here. Usually it has to be specifically requested, or it’s something that I just can’t get a good shot of myself. But today I’m using Shiryu Musashi’s vendor photo for his latest release at Musashi-DoBrocade Princess. Why? Well…

I’m the model for the vendor!

I’ll be the first to admit that I don’t have THAT many formal gowns in SL that I really really like. I don’t go out dancing too often and so I never feel like I need to buy formals. But this? I am in love with it! The brocade is fabulous, it folds and dips in all the right places. There are 2 different sashes, patterned or solid, and the gloves are just amazing. It’s really hard to find elegant formal gloves sometimes! The best part is that the pattern of the gown matches the pattern of the waistcoat on his Party In Venezia tuxedos. You can match your date’s tux! I just love love love little things like that!

And oh, I couldn’t help it. I had to take another shot. 🙂

Each Brocade Princess is $499L, and the fatpack is $2199L. The gowns ARE transferable, so if you’re looking to surprise a special princess in your life this holiday season, you’ve found a great way to do it!

Head to the mainstore to get yours, and I’m sure you won’t walk away empty handed!

And big big thanks to Shiryu for allowing me the opportunity to model for him!

I’m impressed!

One the nice things about the holiday season in Second Life is that there starts to be more formal parties, and not *quite* as many lingerie/bikini parties. Not that I’m against those at all, but there’s really something to be said for putting on a gorgeous gown and dancing the night away with a handsome man in a suit.

Lile’s Impression by Phoenix Rising will certainly leave an impression on your date…and everyone around you! It is fantastic!

A silky, strapless number, it creates a splash with the bright green peacock accents and short train. There is also the top belt option without the feather, but personally, I love the feather.

Lile’s Impression is $520L, and there are 6 different colors available. Head to Phoenix Rising now to get your own so you can create your own wonderful impression!
