To Everything There Is A Season

Hello loves. Wow, what a month July was for me. I’m sorry to have gone radio silent, but my life took a drastic turn. My dad passed away on July 11th, and it was very much a shock to me. If you have known me for any length of time, you know that my parents are my world. Every prayer I have said in the past 10 years has been for them. Everything I have done has been around their schedule. To learn to live in a world where my dad doesn’t exist anymore is…a struggle. So I took the remainder of July off and away from basically everything – SL, Twitch, gaming in general.

I wasn’t really sure if I was ready to return to blogging, but SL has been my creative heart for the past 12 years. I have put my emotions into 99% of my photos. I feel like I need that right now, probably more than ever before. But forgive me if I am slow sometimes. I’m taking small steps into a world that honestly doesn’t make a lot of sense to me right now. But I am my father’s daughter, and he would have, 100%, told me to just get back to doing whatever I want to do.

Hello, beautiful ones! So one of the things I have loved about the spring rounds of The Epiphany in the past few years is that they are usually full of very boho chic items. And as we all know, that is the aesthetic I often lean into! Spring and summer are the perfect times for road trips and outdoor concerts. I hope all of you get to do at least one of those things this season!

I Love To Live So Pleasantly

Hello, beautiful ones! I’m all about the self care and having “me time” these days. I really believe in the saying, “You can’t pour from an empty glass.” For some reason, we live in a society where running on empty is seen as a status symbol. I would much rather live quietly and have the time to enjoy a pleasant afternoon.

Uber started up for the March round and oh gosh, is it ever good! I have been looking at everything and wanting to blog it all. So I guess expect a bunch of posts in the near future!

The Time Has Come For My Dreams To Be Heard

Happy Monday, beautiful people! It’s my favorite time again! The Epiphany begins tomorrow night! And I know what you’re saying. “But didn’t we just HAVE a round?” We did, but it was a special holiday pop-up round. This one is the right-on-schedule one! But who can complain, right? We love The Epiphany! The designers always bring their A+ game with them, and oh y’all, this one is NO exception.

The Epiphany starts on January 15th at 10pm SLT and runs until February 15th. You won’t want to miss it!

You Never Know Who You’re Gonna Find There

If there is one season that Second Life does well, it’s the Halloween season! I don’t think it’s that we’re a particularly dark group or anything. I think it’s just because this season allows for so much creativity. And with so many super events happening this month, I just know that all of you will find your magic. As for me… I can’t wait to start getting into some spookier pictures!

The Epiphany started yesterday, and runs until November 12th! Be sure you get there as soon as you can to get all the goodies!
